Touring Fuel Tank.

Hi all,

Does this option exist at all? I was in a dealers in Manchester and it was listed on the spec sheet as an option, I will try to get a pic one lunchtime.

It sounds handy to me, I wonder if its the Porsche approach where the default fuel tank is smaller say 50l and as a no cost option you can up it to say 75l? (this is all to show your cars default weight it lower with the prescribed % of tank filled etc).

I say all this having been over the UK configurator and there is no sign of this anywhere as an option, hence the question!?

Chris

Option 1AG - only for diesel models. Optional for 20d SE, standard for the remainder. £40 cost.

The UK configurator has a few other things missing which should be there:

- Ventilated seats, front
- Instrument panel in Sensatec
- Galvanic embellisher for controls

Thanks, kinda smaller than I'd hoped or wondered. I saw the main sticky thread referring to 17.2 and 18 gallon tanks. Hey ho, appreciate the replies, cheers.

18 US Gallons = 68.1L
18 UK Gallons = 81.8L

To explain what I was really stretching for was an X3 with theoretical 1000 mile range.

18gal x 57 mpg etc theoretical I know.
