65% light penetration in UK i believe ...They do look lighter than the rears to be fair...but that may be the light on the car?

According to the guy who did them, any tint at all on front windows is illegal. But unlikely to get pulled just for that. I've never had an issue in the past anyway.

And yeah the sunlight on the 'after' pic doesn't really show a true representation of what they look like, but I did want the back windows to remain darker. The backs have been made to look darker because of the front windows not letting as much light in too

The front side window must have light transmission of minimum 70%, which is right about what most cars come with from factory, so adding any tint will put it under.

You may be right. But I would advise that law enforcement face a variety of dangers. And when approaching a vehicle (particularly in the US), they will want some visibility into the car to assess whether they're walking into something bad. Tinting may, at least at the subconscious level, make officers more uncomfortable. That may increase the probability of getting written up in the event that you DO get pulled over. Cops advise that you roll your windows down when you get pulled over for this reason.

I do that. I've found that my ratio of tickets to being pulled over is significantly less than 1.

In spite of the rapidly approaching “storm” Ciara (well, a bit windy and wet for a while, just an average Scottish summer day really) I managed to get the Beast cleaned and polished. No time for a full decontamination, claying and cleanse/polish/wax but a decent bit of shiny anyway. Will give it the full works in the spring when I’m more likely to get two days in a row with the same weather

Jet wash
Autofinesse Lather 2BM wash (run out of the BH stuff)
Jet wash
BH Auto Wheel on alloys
Dry with Megs microfibre towel
Autofinesse Glide carnuba wax (someone gave me a bottle, thought I’d give it a try. Goes on and polished off really easily)
Poorboys Wheel Wax (a bugger on the cerium bits)
Megs glass cleaner
Quick vacuum and clean inside

Et voila!

I think the diffuser and the tips look great. I don't think it would look bad to paint them black, but you probably wouldn't see them much. I'd probably keep them stainless for a while and see how you like them--you can always blacken them later.

Bought it on ebay. Yes indeed, sensors give problem. Didn’t solve it yet.
