Esys link
Hello all. New member in WNY, new BMW owner. Picked up my CPO 2014 x3 35i two weeks ago.
Any chance someone is willing to share the latest Esys link with "a new guy"? Thanks in advance! I know all threads are useless without pics: Space Gray, Chestnut interior, M-package, 40K miles and I LOVE it! |

Is it possible to code the DRLs to be at full brightness with the LED headlights on or just increase the brightness to 100% anyway on X3s? I have looked everywhere and cannot find a way to make this happen?

DRL's should already be at 100%. If you are talking about halos, there is coding so they remain at 100% rather than dimming with headlamps. Coding varies by type of headlamps, country, and chassis.

Need Help
I have a 2016 X4M40i and want to recode some of the items. I bought the yellow cable from the guy on Ebay who says he is the largest seller and I got a link for a "E Sys" program and PsdZDat version 59.4.
I've now spent a couple weeks reading everything I can find but sti don't understand enough to try this myself. I don't know what "VO" means or other terms used. I don't feel knowledgeable enough to do this alone and certainly don't want to brick the car. Is there anyone in the Tampa FL area that can help me get started. I'd gladly compensate you if needed. Please PM me or email me at bmwpc at cs dot com. Thanks |

I coded my wife's X3 this weekend after coding my F30 and to be frank, it's not difficult at all. If you have a good guide, follow it to a tee and you should be fine.
