same here i like the x6/x4 body style. i like to switch it up so if x3 comes as these pics demonstrate i will jump on it.

Well I've said it before and I'll say it again... looks are subjective. I think you're blind if you think the Lexus front end is more conservative / less busy than the X3.

And I'm not hating on the lexus front end. I quite like it personally. We have an Is350 F Sport at home. All I'm saying is the X3 looks a lot more conservative and a lot less 'busy' imo.

Watching the video anyone else getting a little Porsche Cayenne in the side rear profile? I really like the overall design of the M model. It's pretty fascinating reading all the different opinions, really highlights how individualistic everyone is.

It has grown on me. At first sight it looks rounder than the current gen. But upon closer observation of the current low res pics, i noticed the creases are sharper. The crease along the side blends nicely into the lights and has a neat play of highlights and shadows. The rear lights look nice and recognisable when lit at night.

I feel this design is more interesting to look at repeatedly as you pick up the details as compared to the Q5 which is very bland in my opinion.

100% Agree... I wanted an X5 to replace my aging pathfinder and to sit next to our M3... .but this x3 M40i has my attention hard!

Doesn't look like the definition of chick SAVs like the RX350, Q5, and the current X1, and last gen X3 does.

It looks like it evolved with hints of the X1, old X3, but butched up a bit by adding a bit more X5.

I for one like it. At least what I can see as of now. And given the M40i sounds like it'll have some balls, I'm quite excited. I'd like the X3 M but can't justify its cost with an F80 in the garage already.

But admittedly I'm wierd.

Get use to the kidneys because that is part of the new form language moving forward.

Some of these design features are going back in time so it is not new but just old coming back to life.
