Yes I signed in the forums when I had a 2020 M40i after 5 months I upgraded to the X3M non competition and tuned it with Bootmod3 using OTS E30 map at the moment. GT500 and I were running last week at the Dragway so most of the data is the same (temperature, DA, etc). I'm running the stock tires 21" wheels. The car is absolutely stock aside from the tune. |

I have your own personal spreadsheet set up and have added you to the St1 with GT500R, but need to know your tire psi F/R before I finalize them? Also, just so we're all on the same page, doesn't the X3M usually come with 20" wheels? So your F97 has upgraded wheel size to 21" (although still OEM BMW)? This may seem overly detailed, but once the data is set here it may be referenced years from now, so if I'm taking the time to set these up I might as well get it correct from the start. I have no idea if rotational mass/weights of the two are similar or not, but at least others will have that info and can analyze if they wish. GT500R - do you have the 20" wheels or 21"? I'll hold off posting CJJ's until I find out so I don't have to re-edit again. Also, will either of you be flashing back to stock at some point in the future to obtain formal times for stock X3M? |

CJJx3M40i - since you referenced the 21" tires as 'stock', is it possible you actually have the 20"? Just making sure as the terms 'stock 21" ' for the base X3M is a bit of contradiction? I understand that some have opted for the 21" wheels so just making sure. BTW - anyone know how much that upgrade costs, and is it a standalone or do others things have to be ordered as well when choosing 21" for the base? |

Hey @[Max Well], I'm not sure what the tires were that day for temp and psi I can tell ya what they are right now: Front: 35 PSI (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 255/40 ZR 21) Rear: 40PSI (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/40 ZR 21) Mine came with OEM 21" wheels, Under tire settings I have summer tires 21" max speed < 100mph In about 3k miles I need to go in for service, I will be flashing back to stock at some point before that. When I do I will see if I can get some numbers with dragy on the street to share :-D |

Although it'll be interesting to see your stock numbers using Dragy, I won't add those to a spreadsheet as keeping those for formal slips only, but hopefully some with base X3M can make it to a Strip. Thanks again for sharing your data. Last edited by Max Well; 07-28-2020 at 02:59 PM.. Reason: Corrected quote from CJJ for my tag |

As some of us stock are spinning at OEM tire psi recs at well-prepped tracks, it makes sense that with even more power that problem may arise. Would've been interesting, if you had more time for additional runs, to try some at lower tire psi - bet we'll see some improved 0-60' interval times as this gets dialed in.

Bumping this to share the current Leaderboard, and encouraging everyone who goes to a Strip to share formal slips. Doesn't have to be the fastest time only, as every slip can provide useful information. If shared, I'll prepare a personal spreadsheet for your individual runs, will add your fastest run to your group's category sheet, and if you are the fastest in your group will add to the Leaderboard.
Still no entries for base models, St2, or St2+, so anything entered into those now will be guaranteed a spot on the Leaderboard. |

Thanks for sharing, @Daniely30 . Before I can set up your spreadsheet need some more info. Your garage shows you own a 2017 340i, so not sure what model F97/98 you have? If you don't remember the DA I can figure it out once I see your full slip which shows location, date and time. And not sure if you just have a downpipe alone or also a tune (are you St1 or St2)? As there are so many combinations of mods gotta depend on Members to indicate what category I should place their data. Not a huge deal if you can't remember your tire psi, but are the wheels stock or ?

X3M draggy
Wanted to share a draggy result from last night. X3MC, Stage 1 91 Bm3 tune, stock weight, stock tire/rim, golf clubs, backpack, 5/8 tank of gas. Used Launch Control and had a few gallons of e85 in the tank mixed with 91 octane.

Noob alert
Can anyone here speak to the longevity of their engine with a fairly low level tune on it? I know you got to pay to play but just wondering if anyone's got experience with a long-term tune. I'm considering BM3 stage 1. Thanks
