I have found a new game to play!

There are now two X3's on my street ...

Had a little peek at the VINs ...

X3 20D Vermilion Red with Black Nevada Leather (2011-02-04) £31480+£5910 = £37390
Navigation system Professional
Seat adjustment, electric, with memory
Reversing camera and Top View
X Line
Through-loading system
Connection Bluetooth + USB devices incl.
Sun protection glazing
Interior/outside mirror with auto dip
Lumbar support, driver and passenger
Roller sun visor, rear door
Servotronic steering

X3 20D Alpine White with Black Nevada Leather (2011-02-25) - £31480+£8375 = £39855
Navigation system Professional
Panorama glass roof
BMW LA wheel, double spoke 309
Xenon Light
Trailer coupling
Seat adjustment, electric, with memory
Through-loading system
Connection Bluetooth + USB devices incl.
Fine-wood version Fineline Wave
Interior/outside mirror with auto dip
Lumbar support, driver and passenger

The red one has been here for a while ...

On the downside ... another white one ...

*grumble* ... I wanted to be the only white one ...

... hope theirs isn't embarrassed when (if) mine arrives.

Am I the only person that finds this incredibly strange?

Has anyone actually seen any F25 M-Sports on the roads in the UK? The only one I've seen was the test drive one I had.

Have seen loads of SE's but the M's have been conspicuous by their absence (and Horsey's stats would suggest there's quite a few of them out there!)

There are a few around here. In fact I now see M Sports more than I do SEs on the station run. Still by no means common though esp compared to the Q5 which are everywhere. One of the reasons I had to get rid of it was that there were three on my floor of the car park alone!!

In 2005 there were 27 million cars in the UK.

I am not sure how many there are now ...

I think there are maybe 6000 odd M-Sports in the UK.

By 2005 figures, thats 1 in every 4500.

I was going to say that doesn't sound like a lot ... but maybe it does ...

Well, the E90 has been sold, so it's hello Enterprise Rent-A-Car until the F25 is on the drive!

VIN Ranges

Hi,

Following a forum member request, it has become apparent that I don't have all the VIN ranges. This is a list of the ones I have, if you know of a UK F25 VIN which is not in the range maybe you can give me the first 4 characters of the 7 character VIN suffix.

e.g. LX98xxx

This is what I have ...

TYPE MIN_VIN MAX_VIN
X3 30D LX98600 LX98999
X3 20D L686000 L686105
X3 20D L683000 L683999
X3 20D L685000 L685999
X3 35D LL29000 LL29270
X3 20D L677000 L677999
X3 20D L682000 L682999
X3 20D L675000 L675999
X3 30D 0B52000 0B52259
X3 20D L681000 L681999
X3 20D L678000 L678999
X3 20D L676000 L676999
X3 30D LX99000 LX99799
X3 20D L684000 L684999

Thanks Horsey, but I cannot open/unzip the file - Destination file could not be created.

In earlier quote you provided a copy in an older version (I use office XP on Windows 7). I could open that file X3_Trim_Options.zip

Could you try reposting in an earlier Excel format.

Thanks Horsey. Your suggestion of using http://www.7-zip.org/ along with the provided password worked.
It seems the standard Windows 'unzipper' was the problem.

Thanks for the info - Roger

Thanks - Roger

Horsey, thank you very much for the exterior trim stats - interesting

Not loads with aluminium exterior trim, but a few...

My X3's status is now 5000 - delivery should be first week of July. I am getting a loaner today to tide me over: not for delay in delivery to the X3, but for delaybin delivery to husband's 528i. We ordered both atbthe same time (mid Feb) and he was originally given a date of "end of April". That as now moved to August! We were trading my car in for the 5 Series (I would have driven his old car) - my MOT is due in June. So they ave taken my car and given me a loaner 3 Series - get it this evening

QT
(I am a bt sore from all the slapping now...)

Anyone know....is there a boat loaded with X3s on its way to the UK?

From my calculations should be around now our X3 is crossing the Atlantic.

Horsey, is there a way of tracking that...can you get a list of VINs on it? If so may be able to match spec to VIN???

I can only tell you about vehicle specifications.

It would appear that we can't track UK bound cars anymore.

I am guessing that they new go through a different shipping company.

According to the WW shipping schedule I don't see how my car could have arrived in the UK when it did.

Saw two X3s today!

... shouldn't be surprised, it was near Wentworth and almost all the cars seemed to be BMWs

PGA golf it would appear ...

I see Horsey....seem to be seeing more X3s here too. Theres a couple I see regular. Although had a longish drive from Midlands to South coast, didn't see one X3 but loads of Evoques! LR must be pulling in some serious money right now...

They (Evoques) still look good from front and sides but the back is starting to look a little naff as I see more of them....IMHO.

Oh yes, there's a white Msport at the gym...looks fantastic!!

Pictures are normally suitable for a new delivery but I think videos are in order for you Horsey. I hope your car lives up to the hype. How many more sleeps?

No, but I think that they were headed that way!

We have season passes and a toddler and rarely do the safari (attention span of a goldfish - especially for things he cannot touch...). So we were parking at the main house, just as they were pulling away. Since the park had only been open 30 minutes, I can only assume that they had just had a rest/coffee break before they headed off on safari...
