Any other week 13 builds stuck in quality check? Mine still has the 3/28 production date but hasn't moved beyond QC in 7+ days.

My build was completed March 4th. I've been scheduled to pick it up mid April from the Performance Center... However, my CA just noticed a stop sale on the order. He is trying to get more info and determine if it will prevent me from taking delivery. Could be the same thing holding up yours.

Wow that's taking a long time! My guess is we have the same issue. Hopefully small since they will need to fix yours at a vpc

Found my issue, not sure if it is also what is holding up yours. There is a stop sale on some X3s due to a missing strut brace that needs to be installed. PCD has assured me mine will be ready to pick up by my scheduled date in mid April so hopefully BMW has a big batch of parts inbound and can get these X3s moving again.

This would explain the 2 week hold on vehicles in QC status before being shipped out. We have a 3/8 build on our second X3MC and likely were affected by this bulletin…it's over due by 2 days now and was shipped out on 2/21 was expected 3/4.

Interesting how they decide to ship some incomplete cars to a vpc for final assembly and hold others at the factory. Since mine is a 3/28 likely wouldn't be missing the strut. The SA told me last week that it's navigation chip related. :

could be that cars that are missing dealer-installable items such as struts are shipping to minimize wait time, but items like chips are held at the factory due to complexity of install. hope your delay isn't too long!

Steven's Creek BMW has never given me a fair price on a new car or been willing to budge on any of their ridiculous window stickers. So I'm glad that some of you guys were able to work out decent deals there.

First BMW (car) purchase, first time at Stevens Creek. I worked with a CA named Uno and aside from a Sunday afternoon time slog for paperwork/financing, the entire process went great. Got an easy couple of test drives in the X3M and an M40i, I got the car for MSRP, and they gave me a decent number for the trade in. No complaints here they've earned my business.

Nice car! My car is at Steven's Creek also it's the MBB with 892's and Red Calipers. I am taking delivery next Wednesday

This is my 3rd time dealing with Steven's Creek and they have been great to work with. I picked up a 2020 X3M in December of 2020. Next I picked up a 2021 X3MC in May 2021 and now picking up my 2022 X3MC next Wednesday. I like those guys, easy to deal with.

Production number should be able to added to your “MyBMW” to track it. My understanding is production number means you have a allocation. Has anyone heard of BMW releasing the April allocations? I missed the dealerships allocation in March by a week and waiting for the next set.

If I were you I wouldn't wait on that dealer. Start calling others. High volume dealers tend to have more or if not at least the ability to acquire one for you.

Im wondering the same thing, when do dealers typically get allocations for the new month?
