My dealer's distribution manager "made some calls" to confirm the reason for delay. I was hoping it was just the site updates being a few days behind. I have to assume it's a short delay, otherwise I'd think they'd halt all x model production. Oh well!

Are those shadowline headlights? Can you take more pix of the front (with and without the daytime)? My dealer said I can change my build since it was pushed back to 111 so I'm still torn on these! Thanks.

I started with tartufo but ended up with a stripper. Only option is the heated steering wheel.

When I was picking mine up yesterday I was talking with a few people at the dealer and they said they just received word from corp that production will begin to be limited from now through fall. Allocations are going to be even harder to get. High volume dealers are going to be your go to.

If anyone is on the fence I would recommend getting an order in now to try and grab an allocation.

Ordered X3MC 2/8 and still waiting for allocation. Very high M volume dealer in Chicagoland. Will see if I get an April but they said they received zero M allocations for the March window.

As an aside, dealer mentioned 90% of Porsche wiring harness is made in Ukraine, so that will affect a lot of their models. BMW sources parts from Ukraine as well and any disruption in natgas flows / etc that could shutdown German industry will also affect parts avails. Earlier post about allocations getting harder to get going forward will likely prove true.

Just submitted an order yesterday with a dealer in the Chicago area for an X4M Competition. They had one allocation available and the production number was issued after they submitted the build. I was told to expect delivery by the end of May.

Does anyone know when the next set of allocations releases will happen? Is it normally early or middle of the month? I am waiting on allocations since I missed the dealer March allocation by a couple days(just sold it before my contact). I am number 1 for the X3M but they had long list for M3 and X5 45e requests.

Was told 'by end of the month / first week' of the allocation month. so in this case i asked wednesday and was told we'd know by end of next week.

The German plants Dingolfing and Munich came to a complete halt in production in the beginning of March. They started gradually resuming production in the middle of March, but this did not effect operations in Spartanburg. However due to war/Chinese lockdowns, wire harness and chip shortages are only getting worse and it will probably effect Spartanburg one way or another.

The best way to get an allocation is to call every dealership within 100 miles of you. I called 46 dealerships and had an excel spreadsheet and secured two allocations (production no.) for the M3. I ended up getting called back from one of the dealerships with a cancelled order on an X3M Comp arriving shortly in my exact spec as M3, so I took that for MSRP. However I am holding onto my M3 allocation. It seems the x3m is easier to come by then an m3 so I suspect.

You're right. X3M is MUCH easier to find an allocation for.

Here u go, lens are completely clear, there is a grayed out brow that gives definition and the inserts around lens make the light elements pop
