I read this, then updated MyBMW app to 2.11.0 from Apps store, checked it and it didn't show trips, then deleted MyBMW Apps and reinstalled and logged in accepting all new terms.
Opened the MyBMW app and Voilà! Trips was there! Didn't have to go to the car to hard reset or anything

Can't believe I have only done 18miles in the whole of November,

need to get out there and thrash this animal!

So I did this as well, and MyTrips DID show up in the app…. But it's still saying I need to Accept certain privacy settings first. I scrolled thru everything in the car, but never found anything for MyTrips to accept. May attempt to do a reboot today and see if that triggers it.

Got it. Had to go into iDrive7 and update apps… then go back into Privacy and select MyTrips.

Still the same for me, updated the apps 10 times and restarted iDrive, changed privacy settings from the web but still no option for my trips in the car or on the web. App shows I need to enable it in the car, deleted it and reinstalled but still no change.

Filled the car up this morning. The updated info in the app is todays date & time of the trip but the fuel indicator has not changed. Refreshing the app does nothing. So annoying.

My (android) app just started showing "my trips" and asks me to activate it in the car, however there is no "my trips" entry in the data privacy menu even after updating my apps. I tried the 30-second iDrive reset, no result.
Android app is 2.12.0 (19883) and
iDrive is 03/21;R: N1.0, 20200528; en00, 20200528; TV ID7
Australian market, 2021 build, pre-LCI G02 X4
I will keep trying re-sets as described above, and I have a long trip tomorrow.
I tend to agree with other posters, this seems market dependent, and BMW releases the product before its backend systems are ready for it.

I’ve had the same in the app for about 3-4 weeks but still nothing in iDrive privacy despite multiple reboots and a service in which they told me they had updated the software.

Just got this working, I had to open the BMW app whilst in the car (and connected via Bluetooth), allow access to local network. Agree to my trips. Then I did the update apps and services in iDrive and I now have the privacy option in the iDrive.

So I tried that, OK up to "via Bluetooth". But where do I find "allow access to local network"?
Tried under Comms, tried under Media, tried under Car. . . No options anywhere.

It popped up (on my phone, iPhone) when I opened the MyBMW app on my phone whilst connected in the car. Note that I use CarPlay as my connection to the car and had good 4G signal. If it’s not popping up check that you’re connected to CarPlay but I would also delete and reinstall the app.

Yesterday my G02 told me that I had one new selection in the Privacy Menu, and of course it was "My Trips"
I ticked that, and BINGO, it became available in the App.
So why does BMW AUS wait months after the App release to update its back-end software and allow us all to catch up with the rest of the world?

Been trying everything suggested on this thread for months without success. Then out of the blue yesterday I got a message on I drive saying new selection in data privacy menu. Finally my trips selection available.

You can't unfortunately.
Longhand calculation divide into 100.
I asked for this and also requested the option to export My Trips data.

As above, you can’t in the UK, but you can in some markets such as Canada.

I also put a request in to the Connected Drive team as this seems an obvious thing for the UK. I won’t hold my breath lol.

41.67mpg avg since factory according to that, which is bad considering the size and performance.
