Since the facelift came out just last year, what's the speculation on the next chassis X3 release date? I'm hoping for a 6 cylinder PHEV and maybe a slightly larger chassis as I find the cargo carrying capacity of the X3 a bit too small and the X5 overall is too large.

Adjusting 2024 BMW X4 (G02) High Beams Headlights?
It would be much appreciated if someone with technical knowledge can help me regarding a brand new 2024 BMW X4 (G02)? Surprisingly the headlights and the most importantly the Brights/High Beams are NOT bright as a 2013 BMW 3 Series with Angel Eyes shockingly.
I would like to find out if I can personally and easily, physically or digitally adjust the 2024 BMW X4 (G02) High Beams Headlights to adjust them higher up, possibly brighter, so I can easily read highway signs when needed, also to watch out for deer on the side of the road. I would like to find out if I can easily do it myself without having to take it to the dealership. The BMW NA factory High Beams settings are very low, I can't see what I need to on roads that have no street lights. Very disappointed with these BMW X4 Headlights in general at this exorbitant price of this $AV vehicle. They should be next-level and they're absolutely not, just basically standard lighting. Since G02 LCI, the headlights are more advanced matrix LED with auto high beam masking. However, BMW USA decodes the matrix masking feature in the US market, so just back to basic auto on/off high beam. Look at your VIN for option 5AP Decoding for no-dazzle high-beam assistance. The matrix masking feature is designed to keep the high beam on more of the time, even in traffic, to improve visibility once certain criteria are met. You could perhaps consider having the masking coded, although this may not perform exactly as the actual BMW feature functions. I don't know if true, but it's been suggested that US market headlights are less powerful (not as bright) as in other regions due to some local regulations. Afaik the simple Bimmercode solution doesn’t appear to incorporate all the system modules that are active in the official BMW solution, so functionality may be different. |

Just traded the GF's 2021 X3m40i for a new (last M40i made???) - 2024x3m40i ...and...impressions..
outside of obvious LCI updates: 1) in spite of short sidewall 21" X3M - 765 wheels... it drives/feels much spongier/softer... 2) seems like cold start is ...GONE. Initial comparison 2021m40i vs 2024m40i - it feels much less sporty. |
