Reading further on the US threads ... these orders placed only a few weeks ago and which get built before order which were placed in the UK substantially earlier are being held back from deliver because of EPA/Carb certification issues ...
Unless I am being thick, wouldn't it make more sense, given all the attention of just in time logistics to make the cars you can ship which people have been patiently waiting for? |

You are right there is a delay for EPA/CARB approvals and I haven't heard of any time estimate for these approvals. Not sure why they wouldn't accelerate other orders when there are delays, but what do I know, just hoping they release these vehicles soon. Don't expect any sympathy from you all here, we are very spoiled with the timeframes.
Good luck to all of you in getting hours ahead of schedule!! |

After 5 months I'm picking mine up on Saturday! That's end of week 14 vs an original estimate of week 18.
Can't wait! Anyone want to buy a Q5?

I know my car is the M Sport version so mud flaps may not fit - but I'm curious anyway |

I am very glad I have the xenons, DLR, etc Vis package, I would happily dump the Rear camera/Top view to fund the Xenons.
PS, the front and rear sensors seem to me to be better than most competitor’s versions. I had Rear View camera on my last car and not on the F25, I haven't missed the rear view camera yet. |

I notice that the new X3’s have the nice shaped rear brake lights …
The only X3’s I have seen on the road have the more square, T-shaped brake lights. ... are these Series 1 or might they be Series 2 … I haven’t thought to check the number plates. So far in the last 2 months I have only seen 2 X3s with the new shape brake lights … … where are all the new X3s? |

Horsey, my very thoughts ..where have all the X3s in the UK vanished?
Since putting in the order, I have only seen 3 X3s. 2 11 reg and 1 61reg. IS it something to do with what part of the country you are in.. havent seen even 1 anywhere in my county Usually when I buy a car, I end up spotting that car model a lot more, however I have had my eyes peeled and nothing this time ! All the new X3s have the T shaped lights if I am not mistaken, the old X3 depending on what year, had quite a variety of lights |

I saw hardly any between mid-Feb and about a week ago (apart from one that goes to the same toddler gym session that I go to, Space Grey SE), but in the past week I have seen maybe 6.
There are three very close to where I live (one white M Sport, one black M Sport and a black SE). And I saw two going in to town today (passed a red M Sport on the road and saw a DSB SE in Waitrose carpark). I have also seen a couple of silver ones recently. QT |

Would be interesting to get any sort of UK sales figures for the new X3 and defo like to know where the owners are hiding esp when BMW say its a vehicle in demand with the waiting list we have in the UK and no sales incentives / offers publised by BMW.
Noticed a lot more Evoques on the road..having almost bought one, I do have to say that it still looks good but have absolutely no regrets and the X3 is much bigger. |

I must admit sthat I see many more Evoques than X3s - I generally see at least one a day (and not always the same one!), sometimes two or three and I don't do an awful lot of driving (normally 3 or 4 miles two or four times a day). But this really is LR/RR country here (Lots and Lots and Lots of Range Rovers, Discoveries and Freelanders)....
