Replacing Spark Plugs and Coil Packs

Today on my 2011 BMW X3 I replaced my spark plugs and coil packs. It was a very straight forward process.

Just ordered winter tires for my new X3M. Pirelli Scorpion Winters in 20" to be installed at Discount Tire. Doesn't make sense for Charlotte NC but I travel to WV and pure summers aren't smart when cold or chance of freezing rain/snow.

Plus the X3M is my "winter" vehicle with the other one being an M2C.

These are the size tires I wanted to go with as well. The 305 matches the diameter on the 265 front better. Why hasn't Michelin released a 305/35/21 in the PS4S yet? I didn't want to have to buy 4 new ones as I got the Michelin's from the factory.

Also how is the clearance on the rear tires? It looked like a 305 would fit fine to me but I think you are the first person I've seen to actually mount them up, at least on an X3M.

And the car looks great. Love the rims

Another set.
I wasn't seeing any X3's with Diamond Silver LMs.
So, I ended up getting them.
I'm massively happy with the look.

Just did that last Friday too for the same reason, then it got hot. Oh well, they say it'll snow Wednesday, so maybe all is not for naught.

Changed out the strut tower bracket because I snapped a bolt off during my jb4 installation. Part was ordered in November finally got it lol. Thanks to me ECS tuning has a picture of it. Easy install as well 13mm socket used for all bolts.

If it's any consolation, that's a very easy bolt to snap off. My Italian tuner did the exact same thing when he was putting my brace back on. I don't know what the torque specs are for that one, but it's not as high as you would think.

I bought a Rola hitch mounted cargo carrier basket with a light kit to use on my stealth hitch when I need to haul a deer carcass home after a successful hunt! It'll also come in handy when hauling excessive luggage to the airport. At least I can legally hunt deer here back in the States!

Ceramic coat

Today my first day of annual leave fir the Xmas break, I spent time cleaning my toy. How many owners have names for their cars? From my earliest car I have always given then a name. The X3 her name is Francesca.
Washed, snow blasted using my Karcher K7 and Meguiars Gold wash. Followed by the Merguirs ceramic spray. I have polished , waxed cars all my life with great results. This Meguiars spray must be the easiest product I have ever applied. How long the finish will last will be told into the future. The results are just amazing.
Any other users of t he Meg ceramic spray?
