On June 15 traded in my 2020 X4M Competition ( Black on black)
With 14,000 miles to BMW of Freeport and picked up a 2023 X4M Competition in Marina Bay Blue on Black.

Hi, I was given $55k for the 2020 with 14,000 miles. It’s on their lot already for $63,943. What was owed on the 2020 was really low so I took the deal and applied the positive equity to the 2023. The 2023 was $98k (only 9 miles) before equity and small downpayment applied. I’m happy with the final outcome.

Wow 98k??? iirc I paid like $72k in 2020.

I guess inflation is impacting BMWs as well.

Yes, prices have definitely gone up and vary by dealership. In 2020 my X4MC was $86k. The 2024 are even higher. I’m glad I was able to get what I wanted. I considered keeping the 2020 to eventually sell it privately for more money but BMW of Freeport and my relationship with the sales and management team have never let me down with their selection of cars. It made sense to jump into something newer.

$4K over MSRP? ouch. at least you had positive equity on your previous car and as long as you're happy with the transaction I suppose.
