Seems a tad high to me.

thanks!
As another poster said, how can one get an X3/4M that high? Those are X5MC numbers. We got a nearly fully loaded X5MC about a month ago (left off M-Driver's and the high end sound package) and our payment is lower than that. I'd run far away from this deal. PM me and I can send you a possible lead that may be able to help find something in the 9-10% off range. Also, I'm not one of those "don't put any money down on a lease" crowd, but $10K seems high. I like my monthly at a certain (comfortable/consistent) level through all my leases so if that's what you're doing I understand, but this deal seems like a rip-off. Also, did they quote you the money factor/interest rate?

Discount is good, just confirm the money factor is base. The payment is like $50 or so too high.
You guys hit it on the head, I just called and they said that it is "store policy" to mark up the money factor. They refused lower it to the base mf.
Well that's beyond bullshit. I wouldn't buy from them on principle at that point....
I have a really good broker I buy through that can get you a better deal if you're interested pm me.

I would recommend you put nothing down, but if you "have" too, then be sure it's only taxes and fees, nothing more. That 5k is def more then only taxes and fees. Have them give you 10,000 miles a year for the same price.

Kevin,
I am sorry but this is a terrible deal... definitely put 0 down... but if you were to put down $5k and with the base MF, your monthly payment should be $605 plus local tax... if your state charges tax on payment, then total should be about $650... also, do not forget about MSDs.
Lastly, there are $2k worth of incentives available now... is that included in discount?

What the stealership is doing is mostly likely inflating the money factor.

Feel free to PM me and I can help

I was quoted at $951 a month with zero due at signing on an identically priced car. My guess is the dealership is marking up the MF for you.

7.5K a year? Seriously, what is the point in getting the car, paying the lease and hardly driving it.

Thoughts on this deal? This is the best I've come across thus far:

X3MC
82700 MSRP
73190 Sale price
36 months / 10k
$949/mo with zero DAS, which includes 9% PA use tax

Not a bad deal based on leasehackr... I assume that $2k worth of incentives is included? Also, u can use 7 MSDs to lover your payment by $35 a month.

Many people have said the same thing & told me to try to put down as little as possible. I realize if the car gets totaled then I get $0 back.

I think I might do that so I can get a more accurate estimate of a good deal. The only reason I was putting more than average down was to simply get the monthly payment lower. But you're right, when one of the only concerns or their primary concern is the monthly payment figure that's when they have you over a barrel. Let's chat.

And your comment about the "stealership" could not be more accurate.

That's what I've recently learned here too & I'm very thankful you guys shed light on this issue. Wish I would've talked to you all sooner. The good news is I haven't taken delivery yet & this is still heading over to the dealership.

Hey bud, it's pretty simple. We all have different cars for different purposes. I now get to work from home & don't pack on daily miles driving to work since I have the option of working remotely. This isn't my only car & I've got a nice daily driver. So this will be one of the pristine garage queens.

Hey guys, I was talking to my dealer and they said that Penfed doesn't stack on the X3M comp. Is that true?

I had no idea they could do that at will, whenever they want to or see fit.

I have seen them marking it up 1% point... but it all boils down to the monthly payment... as long as u get 7-8% off MSRP before incentives, plus as close as u can to the base MF, you have a decent deal.

Assuming that all incentives ($2k) accounted in a total discount and all fees rolled into the payments... this seems like a great deal to me as this is equivalent to: 10.5% discount, 2k in incentives and base MF. You can save additional $37 a month with 7MSDs and another $1k rebate from BMW CCA if you are a member or purchase a 3 year membership (check that part).

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm forgoing MSDs but I am a CCA member, so I'll get the $500 there as well.

I haven't checked for deals after getting my X3M in September - but I went through a broker I found on LeaseHackr. By far the greatest move I ever made.

I found a car a few states away, the broker was the middle man and negotiated everything over 7-8 days and when finally done - the dealer finally called me to get my home address to overnight all the purchase forms. I had the car shipped down via Montway a week later.

Not trying to solicit but figured I'd share as many times people want to buy the car themselves. My local dealership was quoting me about $450'ish more a month for an X3M than what I brought mine for (Central Florida is a hot market). I spent $600 to ship it down to me so don't be nervous about going out of state to a dealership that doesn't move many cars if the deal is that good. I made up the freight in savings around payment 1.5
