Wow! Congratulations!!! I'm sure you're so overwhelmed with excitement that the Michelins don't matter! Lol. The continentals are actually super grippy and fun for the first 5000 miles! Then you can switch up

I'm happy and yet I wanted the Michelins because I had Conti's on my 2020X3MC and in comparison they didn't seem as grippy as the Michelins once I changed them…perhaps it's just psychological…argh for now.

I requested that they don't unwrap or wash. Dealers suck at washing and since it has train metallic dust they're sure to etch the paint with their worn out dirty shammies…IJS.

Thanks for reminding about the do not unwrap and wash. Have to notify my SA when my date gets close. Going to have PPF installed asap and might drive directly to detailer from dealer after delivery.

Also I had them leave the plastic on the screens….I noticed once they wiped the screen and left oil streaks that wouldn't come off. I'd prefer to remove that myself…and I told them not to install the front license plate bracket, leave all sales center badging off, and don't put on that ridiculous free advertising vanity plate bs; if they want a moving billboard they can pay me…lol

Not paying over MSRP and wouldn't. I had to go outside the metro area about 50 miles to get that deal plus loyalty and a spiff for referring a client who has a vehicle en route to the same sales center…

I know some dealers that are willing to sell the car for MSRP, I was just wondering if any of you paid under MSRP before incentives

I didn't even go home yet and already getting my fronts tinted. It's a must in Sunny Los Angeles….

Edit; I went with the ceramic 20%. Same as I did on my pre-LCI…seems to coordinate best with the rear.

Oh snap! Yes the shadow line headlights are an absolute must! They compliment the piano black trim and window tints etc…they look great in-person actually.

Anyone doing the ceramic coating??? I'm planning now and wanted to compare…we have 2 X3Mcomps mine came in first and we were quoted $1500 now We are negotiating and think $1100 for each; thoughts?

Yes, but I am doing it myself. I will be doing a light correction then Gtechniq crystal serum light then 2 coats of Exo V4. It’s not hard just very time consuming. Literally a 2 day process. I’ve done it before with incredible results.

I am not sure your experience with ceramic coatings but I learned the hard way about 7 years ago….. I ended up with many terrible water spots. If you haven’t already, make sure you get an extremely hydrophobic top coat and you must maintain that top coat. Do not put any other non-compatible products on top of it like waxes etc.
