Another new recipe and this time it's a little comfort food. White bean (cannellini) and ham soup accompanied by creamy ricotta toast with Korean pear. Salad on the side. Paired with a Chilean red.

My wife spent the bulk of the day yesterday prepping this and we enjoyed it tonight. It's eggplant lasagnette with deep fried eggplant, tomato sauce and goat cheese. Unlike Lasagna, no meat sauce, mozzarella or pasta layers. Accompanied with her homemade meatballs and paired with a Veronese Italian red.
