Maybe you’ll like it better than we do. I should add that we are pretty sick of superhero movies, although we like the previous Wonder Woman movie ok.

Just watched: “Unhinged” with Russell Crowe. I’ll say it was mildly entertaining and leave it at that.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas holiday.

We also thought it was less than the first. Glad I didn’t waste theater money, not mad I watched it on HBO

Just rewatched "Ready Player One" on the deadhead back home today. I'd forgotten how fun of a movie it is- especially if you were a kid in the '80's.

Watched two Pixar movies yesterday and today.

The first was Coco.

Brilliant, fast paced, with great music and a family message.

If you play music you will be drawn in by the theme.

The patriarchal figure has run off to follow his music dream and music has been banned by the family.

The treatment of death in the Mexican culture was fascinating and beautiful.

I have a completely different idea about the "Day of the Dead" than before the movie.

Some nice plot twists. Really a beautiful movie.

Today I watch "Soul".

A Jazz musician moonlighting as teacher gets to follow his dream but dies on the way to his audition.

A much less accessible movie than Coco. Very deep and thoughtful but one I will need to watch again. Makes you question what life is all about and what is really important in your life.

Also BEAUTIFULLY animated with amazing sound track by Trent Reznor. At times other wordly Picasso-esque alternating with a New York city that just glows and hums.

So many say "animated" and think "kids movie" when in reality these are very deep circumspect movies that adults will be moved by and are well worth watching.

Agree about Coco and celebrating death in the Mexican culture. I just realized that recently too after recent trips and watching stuff on Mexico. I watched Soul today as well. It was actually much better than I expected. Good message and movie.

I lived through the 80's and I don't think it was that bad.

I did like the sound track...

Anything with Frankie Goes to Hollywood....

Just got finished watching ‘The Devil All The Time’ on Nexflix. It was pretty good I would suggest it to anyone who hasn’t watched it.

Watched The Empty Man.

It had lots of promise from the first 20min. But then veered off into a mondane, ridiculous pseudo cult premise that fell flat AF.

Agree totally on point one.

Disagree completely on point two, your knowledge is not deep enough.
