Luckily it was superficial, so it came off with some polishing etc. Still don't know who caused it.

I hate this. Some people just very irresponsible, my last Lexus also got 'scratch and run', I had the footage from dashcam, but what can I do, it's minor, most people don't care, so do the insurance companies. At last I sanded it off and polished it myself.

Where'd you get the blackout bits? I am not a fan of these cerium gray accent bits. Also, that is the cutest front plate ever.

The "blackout bits" have been a factory option for much of the world since the G01 and G02 were introduced. They became a factory option for US cars for MY21. But loads of us here have gone the "cerium delete" aftermarket route. It's probably the most common aftermarket mod done by members here. There are tons of threads on the topic and many different aftermarket sources.

I bought all my stuff from IND Distribution. The front grilles and "boomerangs", the side mirrors and vents, and the rear badging are all available in black. I went with body color rather than black side mirrors. It matches what BMW does from the factory and I prefer them to black mirrors.

Had pretty bad wear on the outer edges of the tyres so put new tyres on and took the car to get the wheels re-aligned. Surprisingly they were pretty much spot on.
