That's actually comforting due to the fact I must be the ONLY person on this thread who wants it to slow down delivery wise a little to align with Sept. in my case

I’m build week 10. Both recalls are showing as closed but still in Bremerhaven. Believe they were completed middle of May as well.

Getting quite annoying now. Original delivery expected date was 19th May.

Mine only got to Bremerhaven on 9th June and my build week was 13.

Hopefully retrofit will be done by end of this week.

Revised estimated delivery date is w/c 27th June.

Just a quick poll - how many days people are waiting for shipping? I think it's like 9/10 days now I have been at status code 165, and the VIN is not yet showing on http://41.160.4.58:8080/apex/f?p=102:11:::NO:::

Also - does the RAM update *always* get done at Bremerhaven? i.e. it's routed from SA->DE first for that fix, then to UK?

Mine was 4 weeks from build to shipping. All UK bound M40i's appear to go from SA to DE for retrofitting.
My 2 retrofits were completed within 1 week of landing. I'm now on week 4 of awaiting "handover to carrier" in Bremerhaven. When this finally happens the car goes to Cuxhaven to then be shipped to the UK.
Genius updates have been the same for over a month "car is due for delivery next week".
My sales agent (TRL) is embarrassed by the situation of not knowing and has escalated several times and has many orders in the same situation.
I sold my car back in April on the basis I could do without for a few weeks... getting very frustrated now!

THanks for that - great update. What pisses me off is that we, on this forum, have a FAR better grasp of WTF is going on with transit than either Genius or dealer (in my case Park Lane who still think my car will be here by 10July FFS and it's not even in the car park for the ship yet).

Agreed.
Just to put this all in perspective, next Sunday my car will be 3-months old!

My car took 2 weeks from being built to shipped.

If I remember correctly, my car was built week 19, 9th May, and is now on a ship on its way over. I have HK but don’t appear to have RAM update showing, anyone else have the same? Wondering if I’m really lucky or it’s just not showing.

f-me. I know Golidgee said don't check, but I've been polling that Durban RoRo page at least five times a day for 10 days now. JUST NOW it is changed from "No rows returned" to just showing the VIN and the headers of the table

Operation Tally Time Vessel Name Voyage Carrier Carrier Registration

But no data in there yet. Some progress at least :-)

Previous poster - I don't want to sound condescending but did you check the bmw recall URL with your VIN? I'd be surprised if you got away with it? (https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/)

Marvelous Ace is now calling at Brixham port on the 19th. I don’t think I have seen anyone else have they’re car offloaded here before?

On my car I ordered Black Venessa with blue stitching, which was on my original order form. My dealer sent me a the confirmed order form, so I could have the order number to track it with genius, and I noticed that they ordered with grey stitching. Today he called me with an update, and I asked him about it and he said maybe it was swapped due to shortages. I think they made a mistake on their end. I don’t think the stitching colour is being affected by chip shortages?!

Following this ship intently.

Any idea how long we should be looking at from docking here to pick up at the dealership?

No idea. Genius is telling me the 4th. Which if it docks tomorrow would be 2 weeks. But I seen some people it was only 1 week. But that was from Southampton.

Any update on your car?

Dealer and Genius are still saying the estimated date is w/c 27th June.
