I also had the missing new thread button, but update 7.0.2 fixed that.

I second the comment that there seems to have been no announcement of the whole app update process beginning that at least a forum-only user like me ever saw.

The blank DMs are also now fixed in 7.0.3 send to the App Store today so hopefully will get approved in the next 1-3 days!

I dont think this problem is related to the new update. But the application does not load and always gives a connection error if im not using a VPN. Im in Kuwait

Another thing I came across recently is Im not able to share pics with other members in private messages. There is no option to attach them 🤷🏻*♂️

That has never been possible, but it’s something I want to add after the new beta site is fully rolled out

Ah ok - still new here after 3 months. Quick random question I’ve been meaning to get an answer on. What is the purpose of all the ranks definitions in people’s bio. I’m assuming maybe they are based on how long you have been on the forums or how many posts you made? But why are we able to change that line if that’s the case? apptest

It is based on how long you’ve been a forum member and how many reputation points you have. It wasn’t user editable in the past, not sure why it is now, but it definitely is.

Tbh it has always been user editable. So you can go with the system ranks or put in your own title in there if you want 👍

Been a member for 20 years, don’t remember having the ability to edit, but TBH, I never tried either.

i read BimmerPost both via website on my MacBook (i use Chrome) and via app on my iPhone. truth be told, they don't "speak to each other well" regarding the viewing of notifications. following are a couple examples:

• after reading Notifications on the BimmerPost website, the # of Notifications still appears on the BimmerPost app. note the messages are no longer listed (as expected), but the number on the bottom of the app indicating the amount of notifications still shows. i have to "Delete all" to remove that number
• some new notifications on the app's notifications list are not showing on the website's notifications list. currently i have one new notification that posted @3:15am; it's on the app's notification list but not the website's notification list (note it has not been read yet)

i've mentioned the following issue before, but nobody acknowledged it:
i sometimes get an error page when clicking on a new notification on the website (see screenshot). after a few seconds, i'm automatically brought to the general BimmerPost home page. i had 2 new notifications on the list; it happened after clicking on both, and of course, i was never taken to the posts those notifications referred to. this issue started recently with the new website version
