Mine was 165 27th July, 195 12th September. Estimated delivery slipped from mid/late Oct whilst at 165 and has been week of 14th Nov since going to 195. Still the same today and genius seemed to know it was ‘on its way to southampton’ which makes a change to telling me it is ‘on its way from the USA’ . Still hopeful that mine could be on Altair Leader but its frustrating watching it sailing back and forth around europe / sitting in ports for days and now at anchor. If its not on Altair Leader I will be beside myself, having already tracked Atlas Leader all the way last month

we already had here on the forum cars that were produced on July 29th like mine and have already been delivered, many of them came in atlas leader, the only possibility of my car being delivered at the end of November is the altair leader... for now my status didn't go beyond 165...

Got the volans leader coming in begging of November that's a possibility for late November

As far as I know X3’s do stop at Bremerhaven for a “technical enhancement” which means they do sit there for a number of weeks, as far as I was aware iX3’s don’t normally get off the boat.. But this is BMW so I doubt they have a clue either!

Looks like Altair Leader has had to drop anchor outside Zeebrugge as we have no dock space, it's full of Leo Leader and Cassiopeia Leader at the moment.

Could of made a cheeky quick stop in Southampton in that time I'm sure it's the same reason though, stuck in a queue.

Still 165 here today, but a delivery date has reappeared, week 42 again….. so this week again!

I'm thinking yours must be on the Altair leader but it is delayed docking in port.

I spoke with the dealer today and the delivery date went from the end of November to the first week of January... I don't know what to say anymore... a car produced on the 29th of July takes 5 months to arrive.... this it's unacceptable...

I certainly hope so, though I do have my doubts. My only hope is that all of the codes can’t be correct as I can’t believe that cars would just sit around for months and not move! It’s the hope that kills ya!

Certainly is mate.
I'm thinking it's because BMW have no provision in their coding for the non German plants so vehicles don't progress further in the coding until it reaches Europe.

I refuse to believe that a vehicle is sitting at the docks for two, three or four months waiting to get on a ship for a 6 week sailing to Europe.
Potential for a 6 month post build delivery time frame.

I ordered had built to order and had it delivered a Mazda pre covid in a shorter time frame than it's taking BMW just to deliver our cars let alone build them.

I got the call from my dealer today, car is due to be delivered on Saturday. Not sure if this is ship landing or delivery to the Dealer themselves, I am guessing the latter.

We have booked Friday 28th in the afternoon for collection/handover which gives them enough time apparently to receive the car and do their relevant preps.

* Ordered 4th June from Dick Lovett in Hungerford

* Produced week 29, originally expected for week 39 delivery. Code 165 on 22nd July.

* Moved to code 195 on September 12th, new estimated delivery week 46

Assumed to be on Altair Leader, but that is just a guess.

So we will wait and see if the 28th does indeed happen. Good timing as my G21 M340i has just stated it needs oil+filter, brake fluid, cabin filter, vehicle check all in the next 1k miles. And it needs two new front tyres too!

Its crazy.. My car is still showing week 42, that means it will arrive in DK in week 42 and in medio 44 i will have the car, but both atlas leader and altair leader has arrived, in my code is still in 165 - its crazy, and I am tired of waiting and not knowing what to expect

I’ve no idea anymore, ours is still code 160, it was built 12/8 and nothing has changed since then, we were told delivery in October and are being told w/c 31/10 although were also told it’s still in China, so god knows,
I’m fed up of it now, any new car excitement has been ruined
