Battle bots is back!
Only two episodes aired so far, so plenty of fun to come.

Friday nights for two hours, discovery channel I think (not sure).

It is one if two shows hubby and I can watch together.

Also, Yellowstone is back, on Paramount channel. If you haven’t seen it before, be sure to binge on the first season before you watch this season. Creepy and wonderful at the same time. Stars Kevin Costner.

I agree, but watch the first season first. I’m not sure this coming season will be as good, the plot has totally flipped.

If you are into paranormal, the BEST show by far is Dead Files on travel channel. It’s been on for about 10 years now, I think, and they run mini-marathons on Thursday’s, so you can record a bunch of them.

They are absolutely fascinating - far different than any other ghost show. Really well done. Totally addictive.

No. I wish I didn’t. 1 is best. 3 is very good.

There are 3 seasons of True Detective, with a different cast/location for each. S1 was the best, with S3 also very good. S2 not so much.

I don't think there is much difference overall between season 2 and 3. Vince Vaughn was great in season 2, the plot was slightly better in season 3. Neither came close to season 1.

Another super show is Animal Kingdom - and no, it’s not on Animal Planet. TLC I believe, but once again, brush up on seasons one and two first.

Stars Ellen Barkin, and she is amazing in it. Such a witch!

Also, the Magicians is in incredible show. Not currently airing - also on TLC but I’m not sure about that. Maybe SciFi. Very fast moving fantasy type vibe, funny also. Binge from the beginning. It will entertain you for weeks.

This is a very kool show, kind of Point Breakish. Ellen Barkin is starting to look a bit rough around the edges but still has a certain appeal to us older fellas.

I think the whole Ellen Barkin rode-hard-&-put-away-wet look is intentional for that show. I’m sure she looks a whole lot better when she goes out to dinner - or even to bed, for that matter. I can’t imagine having to be so thin to play a part. Gotta be hard!

She has always been a fantastic actress and has always been so pretty.

We just finished watching "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". I think that may be one of the all time great shows.
We also watched "Scandalous" on FOX. It was ok.
I also greatly enjoy "Star Trek: Discovery".
My daughters love that show but I haven’t seen it. Good one for the dead-of-winter binge.

Just finished the second series of The Tick it is pure nonsense but it works. Read that there won't be a third, at least from Amazon anyway, and I am saddened.

I thought Peter Serafinowicz nailed it.

Does anyone watch Legion?
New episode aired this week. I have it recorded, but haven’t been in the mood to watch it. I can’t decide if I love or hate that show.

I love Bosch, one of my favorites - but I also love and have read all of the books.

I recently started watching "Tacoma FD" and it is absolutely hilarious. It's the same guys who did Super Troopers and I have a hard time not laughing out loud while watching.

Certainly a worthy comedy for anyone. Not suitable for children.

I still think my favorite show of all time, however, was Californication.
