Checked again this evening, just to see if the code has changed with the Altair heading towards Bremerhaven….. Still 165 and delivery next week!

At least she knew it was going from China to Bremerhaven, currently in the process of being transferred to their logistics partner for delivery..

Yep I've started saying to genius that it's not possible for my vehicle to be 165 with the delivery date of 7th November.
They just say check back tomorrow.

The whole system is shambolic and just not very BMW to be honest we've ordered £67k vehicles and you cannot get accurate up to date information from BMW as to when these vehicles are going to be delivered.

This could in some cases cost the customer thousands of pounds in excess lease costs, servicing costs and insurance on a guess of when your new vehicle might actually turn up.

Whilst our cars are all sat at Dalian for the third month, if anybody likes tracking ships our cars are not on the Altair Leader is coming up to Bremerhaven

Strangely all the final paperwork for signature has come through at work today for the car…. I’m guessing the leasing company are reading too much into the w/c 17 October delivery estimate….!

Changed status code today to 190 was at 165 yesterday.

Delivery date is still WC 7th November.

Has anything left Dalian port over the last few days

I'm hoping it's on the Volans though

I haven't been able to find anything since Grand Duke on 30th September, despite my code changing to 195 on 10th. Maybe there is a huge delay for the codes to get updated?

I am new here and having looking at some of the comments.

My car was built on 16th August 2022 and sent to a Car Park and has sat for 2 months, spoke to Genius today and it arriving on the 17th October.

I really do not think so.

My dealer has informed us that it could possibly be December or maybe January/February 2023.

Just so fed up with it all.

Isn't 190 "in transit to port of exit"?.....meaning it's not sailed yet?

I've no idea it depends which port BMW class as the port of exit if they count Bremerhaven as the port of exit or Dalian.

The BMW codes really don't take into account the Chinese plant.

27/7 build day and from 29/7 status 165 and second car 23/8 build day and from 28/8 status 165 the first Pythonic blue and the second black .
I don’t know we’re are my cars until now !
I was waiting Altair Leader to see any change for first cars but nothing.

I really want to believe them.

Next boat from Dalian....we should keep an eye on Grand Orion, which is currently just across the bay at Yantai. Could this be the next boat?

I'm certain it's something to do with BMW not recognising the Chinese plant as all the code lists I've seen don't have a code 165

I like to be optimistic…. But it may be a bit of a stretch for a 01/09 build to make it onto the Altair Leader as it was in Dalian 02/09… More likely the Volans Leader I guess at end of September in Dalian.

The 193 has thrown me a little as that would mean it has taken 6 weeks to get from the factory to the port in China. OR, as you suggest, it did make it onto the Altair and the 193 is actually Bremerhaven.

Time will tell…

Back to 165 today but with the words "it's on its way to Germany " instead of its on it way to Dalian port.

Advisor was really helpful by far the most helpful I've chatted with so far.

I got the impression that between coming off the production line and landing at Bremerhaven the system is completely inaccurate as he couldn't find the exact location of the car on the system no matter where he looked.

The delivery date for mine hasn't changed since BMW bought it forward.

I’m an optimist too, but I can’t see mine coming next week as Genius keep stating. I am hopeful things are moving forwards now though with the final paperwork having now been signed by my employer and returned to the lease company

I'm hoping the delivery date forms up as mine is on a salary sacrifice scheme and I won't be a happy bunny if I have to start paying for a car I've not received yet next month.
