yes understood i was totally same feeling when i looked at the price.
However, i was very obsessed having wide looking fender and really liked GLC 63 bad axx when they installed wider wheels & tires

nonetheless, i loved X3m way they built it so and finally got the piece after fighting myself to give up m performance carbon rear diffuser instead. lol

Hopefully, BMW or whoever custom body shop will make those trims after all.

It would have to cover at least part of the light.

No need. Their product has always been consistent in performance.

Was tempted though, but I don't want to lose control of my EDC options.

I'm planning to install them at the end of this month if they arrive on schedule. I will let you know how they feel

Test fit....

picked up from local body shop after paint done.
test fit on rear driver side.

--result--
not bad but not perfect as i expected.
80% satisfied
10% mis-fitted - no to carving little bit
10% too much over designed at the end part.
I was expecting bit slim design like F85 X5m wheel arch.

Now i will need wheels bring them out toward but not sure if i can flush with them. until i order new wider wheels & tires(need some time due to my over budget so far .....)

also need to bit lift MSS springs
spring position was maximum setting now..
it might be hit at bump stop after flush to wheel trim

By the way, AKRA slip on is delivered today - thanks to RG sport!!

Thanks for sharing aspects of your build jsnkim - looking good!

I'd be remiss if I didn't at least share, that many of these aesthetics have the potential to significantly alter BMW M Division's vision for how our M vehicles can maximize performance. Fully understanding that many M owners may not take their vehicles to the Strip, Track, or Autobahn, these changes can make a positive difference to how our M looks depending on our respective visions. But they don't come without a certain cost on the performance side, if that is an important factor in one's decision.

Just a few links for those interested:

http://www.bmw-m.com/en/topics/magaz...nd-tunnel.html

http://www.saea.com.au/resources/Doc...-A-Seminar.pdf (especially slides 22, 39, 75, 80, and 83 focusing on the wheels)
