It means it was not present when you did the check, so you may be ok.

Unfortunately, I didn't check mine when the car was built, so I don't know if the "Technical Enhancement" was present from day one, or added later. The dealer suggested it had been added recently, but I'm not sure I believe that.

Sounds like they are saying the same thing. Ask BMW Genus for the status code (3 and 4 digit versions) rather than the description, as they often use different parts of the wording below on different days, so can be confusing.

155 - End of assembly (F1) and final inspection / review and, if necessary, correction of F2 date [Quality Check, Production completed, Final Assembly/Assembly finish-quality check]

I was quite lucky with mine. I don’t know why ! Maybe because it was as one of the first builds in new year so they still had all the parts ?

Looks like Covid is now over and everything is going back to normal but we have signs of global war on horizon….

On another hand … I’m Polish originally and my family lives close to Ukrainian border… this whole situation in Eastern Europe sucked out of me the whole happiness and excitement

Puts things in to perspective.

Poland would def get defended and take us all to war. Currently a lot of US/UK military assets in and around areas like Rzeszow.

I wish them well.

My X3 is now at 153 build assembly...i was BW 9 any one else BW 9? I know a lot of UK a cars are week 9??

Wireless charge
Lumber support
Idrive touch controller
Wi-Fi functions- will be installed not long after delivery I’m told by PL via app…

My car was built also in second week of January and now still in status 165 and waiting for 2 missing components. Hope I will get news that the car is ready for distribution towards the dealer in Belgium.

I also wish you and your family all the best in these difficult circumstances.

Sounds about right. Was not aware of the Wifi however? Not convince by the will "follow via App" explanation? Will have to see.

BTW is it the ability to receive or send with the wifi?

I have no idea…..tbh I’m more concerned that I won’t have apple CarPlay!

Hi there
New to the forum, posted this somewhere else but hopefully here is the better place.
Living in France I ordered X4 M40I (almost all options) last July and was given delivery date "at latest" end April 2022.
I was pleasantly surprised when dealer told me the build would start on 9th December with all options an no deletions.
next news I got was that car has arrived in Bremerhaven (end of January) but will stay there until they get delivery of the amplifier for the HK sound system.
I called this week and they say there is still no news or date for the delivery of the amplifier , but hey are hoping that I will still get my car before end of April.
Does anyone else have this problem and do you have any news on when supplies will arrive?
status I got from garage at end of January was 182

Do all vehicles go to Bremerhaven from the manufacture plant in SA for example, then onto the dealership or can they or do they go directly to the dealership via the mainland port like Southampton for UK buyers.

Mine went directly to Southampton Port. Stopped on its way in Vigo Port in Spain.
Next stop after Southampton was Bremerhaven
