What did you do to your G01 X3 today?

Drove with a trailer for the first time in the X3. The trailer zoom function of rear camera not really needed, since the normal reverse mode shows the tow ball quite well.
And the cameras work well when maneuvering with the trailer.
Discovered that the fob open hatch key is disabled when there is a trailer connected.
Discovered that all driver assist functions relying on the rear behind-bumper radar automatically reduce their functionality.

I ended up ordering from this seller on eBay. Liked the look of this one better as it did not have the red border trim, and had more tray separation for coins, etc. Fits perfectly and looks exactly like in the picture.

Ended up ordering and installing the Canvasback side panel cargo covers. Looks great and now have maximum coverage in the back.

Not a big deal, but I see the side panels cover up the 12v socket and the hook for the floor lid on the passenger side. I sent an email to canvasback and asked if this was by design or ?

When ordering you can request that they have cut outs for those items. I don't ever use either so I had no need for the cutouts.

My bad, I missed that detail when ordering. I agree though, it's not a big deal.
I do kinda miss the pneumatic piston that was on the '18 models used to hold up the floor lid.

I really only store things in there that are of very infrequent use but nice to have if ever needed so it doesn't bother me that it's been removed. However, I do find it to be an odd choice by BMW to have removed it only one model year later into the G01. Really don't think profits are hurting that bad to put in small cost savings like this removal. Oh well...

Thanks to the tip of another forum member @nicknyc85 I got this little blue ring for my iDrive wheel from Amazon. The color is not exactly Phytonic Blue, but close enough to compliment the interior of my car. Definitely makes the wheel stands out. Loving all things blue
