Does that half inch really make a difference in sound? Is it deeper?

All the vids I've watched haven't done enough justice for me to repurchase another metal pipe.

This is just a cold start, but being catless has made the tone deeper and robust...I can hear the turbo spool and the pops and bangs sound like an S58. The AA dp is great but its still catted.

https://youtube.com/shorts/Kcg7envL8aQ?feature=share

also I'm just preparing the ride for the GC turbo install...the only thing i'm looking for is a intake manifold then AshtonPJT for the new flex fuel tune.

Sounds great but still too similar to my catless 4.5. need the whole 6 incher. My turbo day will be coming soon as well! Gotta wait and see more reviews on all these new ones.

If you already have a catless then there is no need to get this.. the price was too good to pass being a 5 inch dp compared to other sellers.

Yeah.. I'm kinda a sucker for sound. Most likely get the 6" dp after I upgrade the turbo cause why not.

So far the remnant turbo seems to be doing good but if you are looking to get one soon that is know to work I would go with the GC+ I’m still stuck on what I want. Shit I might just say screw it and go top mount

About to cash out on this bad boy and make 1k whp https://www.ebay.com/itm/26613988330...xoCZOkQAvD_BwE 😁

Rate it. Will need to capture some logs re IATs, but definitely feels like it pulls harder, better mid range and is more responsive.

THANK GOD WE HAVENT!!!!! but yes it’s a custom hybrid type setup where you do the machine work yourself then slap it in there, might work might explode who knows. My goal is around 800-850 at the end but if I make more I won’t complain

Ah yes. Nothing a dremel, a 30pk, and a full days of work can't do...and a hammer for emergencies.

I'd be happy at ~650 with some headroom

650 should theoretically get you to low 10s and the dremel god has appeared 😂

Still technically a "cold start" engine temp-wise, just disabled the feature due to noise hazard to karens

Actually, now that I think about it...since your cold start feature is still on and it doesn't sound bad at all. I wonder if they toned it down for the LCI models because my cold start is brutal! My current decibels for this cold start reads around 76-80. I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure my actual cold start is above 100db.

I can confirm cold starts on 18-19 models is deafening. It also doesn’t help that it does the cold start sequence on every startup, regardless of whether it’s already warm. 80% of the reason I tuned is to disable my cold start LOL.

Does yours by any chance randomly have some rough “cold” starts (when cold start is deleted) that sound like misfires? Mine does it sometimes but it goes away in maybe 3-5 seconds. I’ve seen other tuned B58 guys post about having the same experience so I think its normal. Some say its injectors but I dont think thats true, as people still run into it even after replacing injectors.

All true. I can be on a drive for an hour, stop at a gas station for 5 mins and boom, make everyone's ears bleed lol

I do notice the rough starts sometimes but I'm also running E so it tends to happen more often. In my case, I discovered it to be my dme not registering the fuel blend BECAUSE on a few incidents, my ethanol analyzer module decides to not wake up and causes my engine to run rich during startup. When I'm back on 93, it's normal again. Ultimately, I still believe it to be the dme just being slow to register the tune. Maybe it's just id6.
