Been awhile since I posted I feel like I am having a brain fart maybe someone can help me out I got 20x9 et25 bbs with 275/40 summers im looking to switch up to some AS tires, although im not sure if I can bump up the width to 285 or maybe bump up the side wall. Maybe someone has some insight on that and can help or maybe I should just stick to the same size tire I just wanted it a little meater. Thank you all for the help in advance

I am lost when it comes to wheels. I used the website above and it gives me the specs but I don't know if the differences are too much.
I have an M40 with 19x7.5 wheels and 245/50/19 tires.
I want to run 19x8.5 wheels with 265/50/19 PS4S tires that say they fit on tire rack. I am unsure because it says my stock wheel and tires should be the 20s, which they aren't.
Offset on old and new wheels are +32
Should these fit without rubbing?
Thank you!

O_que wroteI am running 245/45 on my 20x9s and was thinking about going wider next pair too, but then I came across this video and decided against it because, while I would like the look of the tires to be a bit beefier, the current handling characteristics are very good.Been awhile since I posted I feel like I am having a brain fart maybe someone can help me out I got 20x9 et25 bbs with 275/40 summers im looking to switch up to some AS tires, although im not sure if I can bump up the width to 285 or maybe bump up the side wall. There is a lot of good info in this video, but the TL;DW "a narrow tire that is well supported by the wheel is the best way to go"

Rottweiler wroteWhat are your offsets? I just ordered 20x9 +25 fronts and 20x10.5 +35 rears. I hope I made the right choice as I want a flush fitment.

BGM40i wroteHello. I just sold her last week but linger here for a bit. I pulled the silver rim protector off eventually. Pics - I was happy with them but probably wouldve done 9.5 squared if I had a do-over. Or 10sq with front spacer so I could rotate. This is the exact wheel and tire spec I ordered. Glad I found someone with the same specs! Do you have anymore photos you can share so I can see how they look from different angles?

So I’m pretty sure it’s in this thread but I don’t want to click on each page to find the answer. Hoping I can get a quick response. I just received my new set of 20’s and noticed that the wheel specs on the outside of the boxes says Center Bore 66.56. I know our cars have a CB of 66.6. My question is am I going to have issues mounting the wheels on my car? I have a 2023 X3 M40i.
TIA!
TIA!

I really do think that you’ll be fine with 66.56

A difference of .0006% (.04mm in this case) would be within the original +/- tolerance of anything I ever seen on drawings including Nuclear Submarine...

Quick question here for the square set up guys. I’m getting ready to replace the tires on my wife’s 18’ M40i. She currently has the 718M’s and I’m wanting to get away from the 21” RFT’s. I’m thinking of going 20” squared. The only wheels that I’ve found that she likes are 20x10 +30. I see most guys run a +25 setup in this size. Those of you running the +25 setup, is there another 5mm inner clearance or will I need 5mm spacers to clear the strut? Thanks

Why not just ditch the RFT? I did that and now my 21s feel better than 20s with RFT. The ride isn’t firm at all, but I Also have adaptive suspension.

Hello everyone. I have a brand new M40D and I’m really disappointed on two levels!
Firstly, when did BMW go from a 120 PCD to 112? And secondly, why is it that every wheel I like isn’t available for my car? Back in the day when I had myX5 4.8is everyone made wheels for it and some would only fit the X5 due to the fact you could get 315 rubber under the rear arches. AC Schnitzer made some lovely 5 spokes which are no longer available. I know you Americans go for the M40i, probably because you pay the same price for gallon as we pay for a litre over here. My question is this, are the specs for the petrol any different from the diesel? Great site by the way…

I'm running 20 x 10 +25 on my x4....I have a few posts with pics with KW3 coilovers....but my TSW rims...are 3 to 5 MM away from the counter weights on each of the front . But no rubbing and no spacers.
