Stopped at a dealer Saturday with pricing guide in hand. They could not believe it as they did not yet have access to it. The dealers in US got it today. Let the dealmaking begin!! Was told deliveries in US likely Nov/Dec.

Good news, Headwind - thanks for sharing. Seems they must be waiting to get production up to speed and any wrinkles ironed out before they open the gates by activating the G01's new website. Without the site it seems non-enthusiasts have little to go on (unless they read the forums and are actively searching out this model).

Nothing new that I've been able to find - maybe they are holding off until after the Frankfurt Auto Show in 3 weeks (being held Sep 14th-24th) and the website becomes active?
As an aside came across a review from 26 Jun 2017 by netcarshow which provides a succinct and interesting summary of the G01's offerings. Although the information is probably well known to this forum's members by now, it still provides a good review of upcoming enhancements for the G01. https://www.netcarshow.com/bmw/2018-x3_m40i/ An example, which I didn't realize on the M40i - 'the intake manifold integrated indirect charge air intercooler allows for a lower charge air volume between the compressor and intake valves, noticeable improving engine response, translating to shorter air routing, faster boost pressure build-up, and throttle response.' For those who have read through the 'Wish List', throttle response lagging was one of the issues hoping for correction, so another good step forward it seems. And under the 'Aerodynamic development' section, they comment on the improved underbody, active vents of the front grill, roof spoiler with aero blades, and the air curtains, but no mention of the Breathers. |

USA X3 site is down... I assume we'll see it shortly.

A good question to ask of your Dealer for sure. As our trade-in is much older we're just trusting a long-standing relationship with the firm that a reasonable deal shall be made when the time comes and have proceeded with the order.

Trading in my 2016 340i with very few miles in meticulous condition. I am satisfied with trade in value which is guaranteed until I take delivery (Nov-Dec?) as well as $500 over invoice. Put a deposit down. Have build configured just waiting for ordering to open. Went to several dealers as the one I have purchased from before did not initially offer a deal I was wiling to take. Did some shopping and went back to them with my best deal and they matched.

I'm guessing Ottos. I had a good experience with them when I got my M3ZCP. Apple BMW casually mentioned $1k over without even trying, so I'm sure getting close to $500 isn't going to be an issue even at the start
