Not sure what you are asking. To my knowledge the rotary switch only operates the up down range of Halogen headlights for UK vehicles. Not just for BMW, but other manufacturers have them.

Yes that. It's for adjusting the headlamp up down angle if you have a heavier load or towing so you don;t blind oncoming traffic with a heavy load. Its common in Europe. Not the most desirable feature anyway.

I was trying to figure out the use of that feature...
I have the other Euro switch on my X3.. works great on rain and fog days... ... and also when an idiot gets too close to your rear for no reason. |
