Not too bothered as will stay somewhere roughly in between on the way home. None of the dealers in Scotland could get close or were willing to try to match what TRL managed to do for me, so happy in the end to get the spec I wanted for the money I was prepared to spend... |

I think we've done allright as I just did a test Carwow request and so far had 3 offers back, the best of which is 9% which still includes the £2,500 from BMW. So I managed about a £10,5k saving whereas these current offers are £5,7k at best. I never got a cost from TRL but I suspect that he'd have been similar to what I managed in the end. I also tried Park Lane as they are the only BMW owned dealership and will often look to better offers, and even they said the deal I got was a belter that they could really only match or better by a hundred quid or so which hardly seemed worth the effort and was happy to give it to my local as they'll get the servicing etc. M. |

I've checked a few ships that have recently departed Charleston, SC with one definitely heading to Bremerhaven and the other potentially en route to there via New York first.
I believe that they go to Europe first before heading back to the US via Southampton dropping off UK customers cars... A few vessels to look out for are Honor and Bosporus Highway. Here's hoping either might contain some week 36 BMW X3 M40i's. |

Hoping mine will be on one of these. This is the list of ships due at the Columbus Street Terminal in Charleston (where the BMW's are shipped from) in the next 15 days.
Given that it takes 12 days approx from Charleston to Bremerhaven (first port of call) I'd assume perhaps 15 days to the UK (and who knows how long to clear UK customs), so for a wk 43 delivery (21st October) I'd say mine has to be on a ship no later than next week 16th Sept or the week after (23rd Sept) |

I spoke with my dealer yesterday, my order will arrive in Southampton on 20th September, but the status according to geniuses is 9000 still BTW, this isn't a 2020 M40i order, hence why slightly ahead |

First image lists schedule of ships in next 15 days from Charleston Columbus Street Terminal.
next 4 images are extracted form those ships schedules on Wallenius website, showing their routes and estimate times. There seems to be some discrepancy between the dates and times on the SC Ports schedule versus those on the Wallenius schedules - albeit the ships names seem to correspond. |
