Until NYK update their schedules for the next week it’s difficult to ascertain, annoyingly.

I visited the dealer, my car has arrived, and i will have it Wednesday next week.

Here some quick photos as it just arrived as i came to the dealer.

I ordered my car without the blue elements, but as you can se it came with them anyway, but it will be removed before I pick it up next week.

Yes, Altair Leader left Dalian on 02/09/2022.
I don't know about the other two.

I can check the port Dalian departure list from Aug 23rd onwards and neither Dionysos and Cassiopeia are listed.

JW_77 is correct Altair Leader left Dalian on 02/09/2022.

That's a bit of a strange one, isn't it?

Have you looked up your VIN to see if you have the 3DE option?

I ordered mine with 320 (removal of model designation), but can see it's not added when looking up the VIN. I think BMW had this option by mistake, since it's now removed from the configurator.

Any deletions? iDrive touch or things like that? If so, what did the dealer tell you?

I looked up the vin and no 3DE, the salesman forgot to add 3DE, but they will remove it before i pick it up, at least they told me so.

Idrive touch deletion, lumber support passenger and kick sensor.

When i ordered the car in January the only deletion was the lumber support...

So what did they tell you regarding this? "Take it or leave it"? Or was there any talk of compensation or retrofit?

I know for sure mine is without Idrive touch & without lumber support passenger, but hoping it has Kick sensor as that is what dealer has told me, but I very much doubt it will have it, I would expect this is something they could fit at a later date, no?

Oh and I just contacted them to check no blue bits

I hate that attitude. Unfortunately, I've heard the same from people who've used same dealer as we've ordered from...

What is iDrive touch? I thought touchscreen was standard?

Also with those blue accents, are you UK based? I thought 3DE was added as standard.

It's not the main touch screen. It's the top of the rotational controller, you can draw on it, which I've always found difficult.

No im in Denmark. The blue accents in my case is a mistake from my dealer.

The touchscreen is standard. Idrive touch is The touch on the idrive controller the "joystick/wheel" before the chip shortage on the top of that wheel it was touch sensitive.

Yea I never really used it on my 3serie, and the kick sensor was not working half of the times anyway 😂

Ah thanks for clarifying.

In that case I had iDrive touch on my 430d Gran Coupe. Never used it!

With dealers shifting fewer units of cars, are we expecting their customer service to improve? They'll have more time on their hands for sure and 'should' be willing to win customers.

In my experience, no matter what is happening in the world, most dealers act like you are bothering them. You'd think they're doing their best not to sell anything. I once walked into a SEAT dealership and enquired about one of their cars. Salesman was sighing, huffing and puffing, and basically told me everything the car DID NOT have. Is that reverse psychology?

My local BMW refused to give me a test drive unless I agreed I'd be purchasing through them. I tried twice, and the fellow with a 'used car salesman passive aggressive tone' refused both times. I could've lied, but they got the figurative two fingers and I left. I wrote a complaint to BMW UK but they didn't care.
