Yeah, yeah, that's it! It's not that I'm lazy. I'm just pacing myself so there's always plenty to do. Yeah, good call.

I use the Note app on iphone to make a list of what needs doing, house, cars, yard, ebikes, woodworking, electronics and financial. It's a slow go most days, took me 7 weeks to replace carrier bearings in a rear differential in my 2003 GMC, working 2-5 hours a day with several days just watching youtubes and reading about it. I don't recommend anyone try this unless you have a lift and plenty of time. I was working off camp mats on the ground. Turned out good, dealer told me it was the pinion and $3600 to rebuild everything. It was just one carrier bearing, left side takes most of the load. Cost me around $150 but I already had a dial gauge.

I'm closing in on 49 and went part-time 32 hours a week 1.5 years ago. I cannot wait to hang it all up in 3 to 5 years. I really have no desire to work anymore. I'm burned out and working somewhere else would be the same BS plus not many employers would allow me to work part-time. I have plenty of things that can keep me occupied and work ain't one of them I envy those of you that are retired, especially retiring early.
Doing lots of international has made me realize just how damn hard we Americans work compared to my colleagues in Europe. They are far happier, that is for sure. They are far less concerned about money and things.

I worked for UPS in Germany for a year. That was no cushy job, but the benefits were awesome compared to the US. 30 days vacation right off the bat. European workers are often shocked at how poorly US workers are treated. One firm I worked for only offered 5 vacation days/year for your first 2 years. That's insane.
