That could be a very clever idea, though I imagine Tesla would want to keep it in house by offering their own body configuration options.

LOL.... after making 4 jelly bean, turd, egg shaped cars.... he must of said no more curves, only straight lines and sharp angles.
There is no way this is what its going to look like when built in 1.5 years. Funny thing is if they change it too much and then theres depositers from today that complain, No I wanted that trapezoidal eye sore...

I see what they did, they are purposely forcing buyers to purchase another brand EVs so that they can all use Tesla's country wide charging network.
Well played Elon. |

To be honest I don't think Tesla's cars might take over the EV world but his infrastructure will. Once every car company realize he has better & more chargers in place, Tesla is going to pop.

This thing is absolutely hideous. Why was this even necessary to make?

Unsure if that is actually your original pic or not - but this (perhaps with the Elon - Age 4 added) needs to properly hit the internet! It is amazing.

Elon kinda missed the boat with that presentation - Harrison Ford should have driven it onto the stage dressed as Rick Deckard.....

However they did make a point to let me know it's apparently bullet proof, windows only susceptible to large metal balls and it can do 0-60 in 2.9 sec... probably to get away from the people with large metal balls. Probably all fantastic features if you live in a war zone... maybe. |

I've never seriously looked at an EV, Tesla or large truck...until now. I love it. I wish all of their cars looked like this, and maybe I'd actually give up my grip on manual transmission, ICE cars a little bit.

I ordered it. It'd be less maintenance required compared to the diesel pickup in this era, without emissions equipment that needs to be addressed in a few years on the diesel engines. Interested to see how long the range is when towing, most of the tow I do is within 100 miles so it's not a big deal. I live in CA, plenty of chargers around. I don't get the point of the side window being ballistic, isn't the point of side window shattering for the purpose of emergency if you're trapped?
