It should, i just did it the other day on a 2020 G20 with iDrive 7.

The only option they didnt have was the land_aktiv in SAS module, but the other two codes, one in SAS and one in MGU, enabled it.

Just did it with FDL, never got it to work with VO coding 8Tr out

I got my car i-step updated but i have a newer pszdata, using launcher pro 5.

When trying to renable LCA after software update I went into SAS, and this code is no longer there

SAS Module:
C_SWA_Vorhanden - Change this to True

So i can't enable it now.

22-03-565 is the iStep i'm on now.

if anyone knows an alternative please advise

I've been in a 2015 X5 in the past with the whole adaptive/lane-keep - lane change package etc, but the vehicle I currently own does not have that from the factory.

Having coded in a few other options I've found confirmation of functionality, does anyone know if (and what options) need to be coded in eSys to enable the lane-keep function?

I've looked thru the thread here (and other sites) and I'm not seeing much referring to the F15 for either yay or nay for how to code it in.

I do have S5AG, S5AS, S8TH from the factory, so it seems feasible, unless it requires the camera/hardware for adaptive cruise.

It seems the BMW Cheat Sheet hosted on Google has been pulled recently, so that is not a reference point for me.

Hi All

Quite a newbie to coding, but have managed to follow along and had successfully enabled LCA about a year ago in my G16 840i in Australia (as well as disclaimer removal, SMS Text in Motion, Tyre temps and pressures).

I removed 8TR from the VO, and set the following:

HU_MGU:
Spurwechselassistent - Change to Aktiv

SAS Module:
C_SWA_Vorhanden - Change to True
C_SWA_Land_Aktiv - Edit values to "FF, FF, FF, FF"

However, after a recent update, all coding was lost. I've gone and reset everything else successfully using E-Sys 3.39.1 and Bimmer Utility with PSdZData v4.37.31.7z, but the option for C_SWA_Land_Aktiv doesn't exist in SAS3.

The result is the Lane Change Assistant appears in iDrive, but the checkbox is not selectable.

I suspect the issue could be with the PSdZData file, or otherwise BMW have removed/blocked the capability.

Any assistance or suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you able to find new way to enable it? Mine is still there but after the upgrade the LCA is not working.

C_SWA_Land_Aktiv No longer seems to be present in the SAS module after the update. Anyone else had this?

When I was configuring my ‘23 X3M40i a couple of weeks ago, LCA wasn’t listed as a feature under Active Driving Assistance Pro option. Now that I look at the configurator, it’s listed again. Can anyone who has bought recently confirm whether it’s available again? I’ve already placed my order with the ZDY, 5AR, 5AU but I’m not sure whether I’ll get LCA with it.

it was an issue with my version of esys i was using.

I got it to work fine now.

I talked to my CA today and confirmed that LCA is available on 23 X3 M40i with DAP. I’ll go to the dealership tomorrow to drive one they have in stock and confirm. For my peace of mind.

What is the requirement for this coding?
My G01 is equipped with departure lane assist with intervention on the steering.
What I would like to do is activate the Lane View + the lane keep driving assistant and then the lane change.

Can somebody pls guide me through the activation of the lane keep driving assistant (LKA?)

We had the lane change feature in the UK with DAP a while ago, but BMW UK then disabled it and removed it from UK marketing material.

I don’t know if there was an accident of legal issue, but it hasn’t returned, but it would be interesting if it could be coded back.

My G01 was delivered with Driving Assistant but the PRO version was not available as per chip's restriction.
Conclusion mine has no eyes IR captor and not extra LED on the steering wheel.

I see on the first page with the youtube video demo that the cas is not equipped as well with the eyes IR captor and not extra LED on the steering wheel. I assume then that this is possible

You will also be missing additional radar hardware that is installed with the pro version.
