I have fitted the module. But unfortunately, it’s not working.
It’s strange that before the replacement of the module I was able to read the VAM_smart opener. However after installing the module, I can’t seem to be able read the VAM_smart opener. As a result it’s not working. Extremely sad and puzzled.

I have tried to install back the dummy module also no luck, can’t read the VAM_master. Wondering why?

I have checked my wire connection seem fine.

Hello there, thanks. I basically look at all the thread in the internet. Haha. So far most of them are successful.

Only me and another user lkase847 hit the road block.
For me is I can’t access to the VAM module via Bimmercode. I was able to read on 21 January. Thereafter I can’t read them. So my car now is fitted with a working module but I can’t use the system due to coding.

well done, and if a dealer was to retrofit this, what sort of cost to them? I still think very poor they cant get our cars in and fit what people have paid for.

Unfortunately all at my own cost. Haha. I bought the smart opener module from dealer approximately 320gbp. Swap the module and perform the coding.

Well done. Maybe time to share the details of the process and coding to help others. At least everyone who got the deletion can now confidently get the replacement modules and enjoy the feature that should have been there from the start. The modules are at least available now for £££ or on auction sites for less as previously linked if in the UK…

I have been through hell due to Bimmercode unable to detect the module. Haha.
What happened to me before I bought the module I read the car and Bimmercode is able to detect the module. However after I replaced the module, Bimmercode is unable to detect the module. Replaced back with the original dummy module also can’t detect its turn out that one bcd software was updated remotely. Is only until 8 February Bimmercode update the app. That everything works.
