There is no way production of a car starts in 45 days and not a single picture has been leaked. In addition looking at all the order guides, pricing has not changed significantly nor have the packages/options. It's pretty safe to say LCI is not 2014, and that's before taking into account that LCI is normally 5th model year of 7, and this is the 4th.

I just started looking at the X3 this weekend but I take it the new 2014 should be out soon, did the dealer just have order sheets or is there a build generator to view different configurations?

At this point you may as well. Unless your dealer has an active production slot it will be mid march before you start vs April with the new MY. Only a couple weeks difference.

I did not inquire about the LCI. The order guides are available on line if that helps.

Im sure the front will lose the round halogen foglights and incorporate some sort of LED lighting to keep up with the masses. Maybe a bit more aggressive bumper f&r. That's my guess.

I've had conflicting information from two separate dealers; one says changes will come on MY14 and the other says no change until MY15. I guess it won't be long before we know for sure but my bet is on MY15.

I was told that the total price of the vehicle when delivered will be $42,575 + DMV fees. I do not know the actual price. Is this a good deal? Last edited by gsrinivas; 02-26-2013 at 11:54 PM.. |

Yes. It looks like you got it for invoice price. The dealer still gets $875 in a holdback from BMW.

I've just ordered a 35d MSport which will go into production in Week 14 (April) and was told that the only changes are a few updates to iDrive - just software tweaks that alter what things are called.
The updated names are as follows apparently: ZNP Media package - BMW Professional 609 Navigation-system Professional 6AC BMW Emergency call 6AE BMW TeleServices 6AK BMW Online Services 6AM Real Time Traffic Information 6AN Information Plus 6AP Remote Services 6NR BMW Apps interface I was told that these are the only changes made in April and that there are no external body/hardware changes - he read this info from internal correspondance on his system. This was BMW themselves, not a franchised dealership. |

Probably only in Europe, sounds like something they would do. Active cruise is the one feature I was really bummed I couldn't get on my X3.

Maybe it'll be similar to what they did in MY2013 for 5 series. Put in iDrive screen and internals but no touch?
