I am in the same situation had the E53 4.4 and E70 4.8. Really liked the size of the E53. Went with the E70 because of styling, but did not like the extra size once I had it. The E70 looked and drove awesome with the 20" performance tires. Now I am considering downsizing to new X3 to get closer in size to E53 and MPG practicality too. But still want looks and performance which I believe it delivers. 0-60 in 5.5 that is better than the E53 4.4 and E70 4.8!

Wow--BMW has really hit a home run with the new X3. It looks great, and from the early reviews, feels great too...
Very nice guys!

A few of you have asked how the X3 M Sport rides with the 20" rims and RFT's. Well I must say that based on my limited driving but over various surfaces, it rides amazingly well. It’s much smoother, compliant and controlled than my previous E53 X5 with sports suspension. Even when DHP is set to Sport +, the ride is amazingly comfortable.
Speaking of DHP, I cant discern a difference between Sport and Sport +. However; the throttle seems to be more aggressive in Sport than in Sport +. I really wish we could clarify what exactly DHP adds over a non-DHP equipped vehicle. |

Yes. The 310's are offset 8.5" 245/40 front and 10" 275/35 rears. The 19" 369's that came standard with the M Sport are 8.5" all around with Goodyear Eagle LS2's 245/45. I was surprised that the 369's were not staggered as RealOEM shows the rims as staggered 8.5" & 9.5". I was also surprised by the choice of tires. The Eagles are described as Luxury Sport" Grand Touring All Season tires. Maybe there's a reason that the M Sport Package list "Sport Suspension Delete" - it’s really meant to be a "grand tourer".

Any pics of M-Sport in Tit. Silver?
Has anyone taken delivery of the X-3 M-Sport in Titanium Silver?
I think this would look much better than standard with body colored bumpers and wheel arch trim. Can't decide which looks better btwn. CB and SB. |

I reckon anyone ordering an X3 with M sport pack must go with the 310's. For summer at least. Really compliments the M pack. The other wheel choices look out of place.

That is completely subjective. I like the 310's look on the black but hate the look on AW. I'm also not interested in another set of wheels/tires that I have to swap seasonally. Personally, I love the 369M's.

I also prefer the 369Ms to the 310s. I am totally happy with the 19" 369s and will likely go to an 18" wheel for winter tires.

I know this is off topic for this forum... but, does anyone know if these wheels (20" staggered 310's) would fit / work on a 2011 F10 535xi (XDrive) MSport? It has the stock 245/40/19 MSport wheels with Goodyear LS2's.
My 535i is Carbon Black Metallic as well, and I think these would look awesome on it... -Thanks and beautiful cars guys!! Quote:
