I dont think the X1 is all that bad, beats some of the far east imports for similar money (although they are not cheap)
New X3 not perfect but 100% better than old X3 (I think I preferthe Q5 exterior (but the X3 wins overall) The X5 is pretty impressive but just to damn expensive to run vs the X3 Overall BMW suv range is pretty good |

X3 "M" Sport Package Pic-In Vermilion Red
Rear shot is the only one I have right now.Car got in front of me before I realized it was an X3 "M" Sport Package model. The "M" Sport Package for the F25 X3 looks very similar to the X5M when both cars approach from head on.The big twin air intakes on the X3 "M" Sport Package look like the air intakes on the X5M at first glance. The X3 "M" Sport Package looks stunning in the bright sunlight in VRM.Thanks. 2011 X3
The new 2011 X3 looks great but where's the manual transmission ! ! ! !
Perhaps BMW will provide a sporty M version with M A N U A L TRANSMISSION as I would like to trade my 2004 X3 for a new X3 (but only with manual)>> I hope BMW of North America reads this post. |

I thought I was the only person left in this part of the world looking for a premium CUV/SAV with a real transmission. BMW NA, please please bring a 6MT version of the X3 here. I'll be next in line. |

The X3 M-sport is now available on the BMW UK car configurator..
You can see the exterior and interior angles there.. Anyone any idea what the silver foot plate to the left of the drivers footwell is about? Just styling? I don't like the look of it. |

BMW UK site does have the M package. When you go into the configurator, you pick ENGINE - and you have two options there with the M package - the 2.0d or 3.0d. The photos show the m package trim as best as I can tell..

It is official, from Aprill 2011 it is available. M package would have been my pick if I had ordered it, looks amazing. |

The exterior M Sport changes are very subtle IMO, the main one being the body coloured skirts on either side.
I'm not convinced it looks better to be honest. In white, maybe, in all colours though, it draw your attention to how tall the vehicle is. With the std. (non M Sport) [with any colour but black probably], the dark skirt, rear bumper etc. gives the car better looking proportions I think.. I'd love to see one(or a few!) in the flesh or more pics of it in any colour but white.. to be able to help me better decide though.

^ Since they are all built in North Carolina, you would think they would be available for all countries at the same time, but I could be totally wrong, its happened before, its certain to happen again...

Those 18" do look a bit odd with the red. Would love to see them on a final spec white car.
Don't like the 19" M-sport to much either. Last edited by acey81; 02-16-2011 at 08:03 AM.. |
