The foot-below-the-bumper auto tailgate is alive and well and works fine on our '15 xLine...

You would do me a big favour with a picture of the back angle where the width of the 275'ers are visible!

Woody, just took a few pictures for ya. Let me know if these are adequate. The new whip is a little dirty but should be representative of what you want to see.

Sweet ride! They're addicting. I only have 480 miles on mine (this Friday will be one month with it already .... crazy). That's my only complaint, I don't drive enough.
How does everyone already have their license plates? Just standard issue right out the gate? The melbourne red M Sport in Minnesota has plates, too. I don't get mine until ~3rd week of July.

Ahh, gotcha. Different states do it differently apparently. We get "temporary tags" for 60 days ... the dealership gets to advertise where the license plate would go and everyone then knows you got a new car, which is the fun part.

I have saddle brown. Another new venture for me! I love it. It's very hard to photograph, though. Out of the 4 photos I took, this one looks the most representational. When I was ordering and looking at saddle brown photos online so many looked pumpkin orange that I almost changed my order. Very happy I didn't, this color is very rich, elegant and sporty at the same time.

Yes, thanks for the interior pic, it looks great. Saddle with Burr Walnut is what I have on order. Jan 2015 delivery....ordered last month! Hopefully they will pull the delivery forward, this happened with my current car.

Awesome looking X3! Have you thought about going black on the grilles? I'm trying to picture it on your front end photo, which looks great the way it is by the way. I just installed black on my Space Gray 2014 M ($105/eBay/OEM), but haven't decide yet how I like it. There is a bit of chrome in the headlights which blends seamlessly into the grill the way it is, even more so with 2015. IMO, the black would look good, unless it comes off as trying too hard. If you do it they're easy to swap out yourself.
Enjoy! |
