Finally got them mounted. Snapped a few crappy pics with my car filthy. I’ll get better pics soon and update my original post to make it easier for anyone looking to buy this set. So far no issues driving but I’ve only driven to the tire shop back home. I forgot how nice it was to not drive on run flats lol

Looks like they came out great! What tires did you ultimately go with? Can't tell from the pics.

It honestly feels more like a “hard shift” if you can imagine a manual car with letting off the clutch a little aggressively while at high speed. A slight amount of feedback during the shift is how id best describe what I get. Not during turns, but usually coming out of a turn when it downshifts or holds gear, which I know it does that often from xdrive; but it’s a smooth up shift after the turn and a few seconds of drive with other wheel set ups on. With these on it’s a more aggressive shift. With the stock wheels on (19x7.5) this never happens. Neither with the winter oem set up. The 20x10 square set up is the only configuration is giving me any sort of “feedback” it’s also the only set up i own that isn’t an oem designated set up for this vehicle.

Could also be tire set up difference, but that’s my experience. Just seems slightly choppier during certain handling scenarios.

Thats strange 20x10 should not be an issue. What is the ET?

If you switch back to your OEM set does it go away?

Yes the “aggressive shift” disappears with both sets of the 19’s on which are OEM wheels.

Again, it types out/sounds much harsher than it actually is, it’s not but it’s present for sure

Sounds like your wheel is not fully clearing the wheel well or suspension? After removing the fronts, have you checked for any rubbing impressions?

Doesn’t seem or sound like rubbing. The wheels are off the car now and there aren’t any signs of that happening from the inner or outer wheel lips or wells.

Again, when I type it out it sounds like it’s much harsher than it is. I personally think it’s xdrive not being accustomed to driving front wheels of this size/spec but I’m not an engineer FWIW

I used all advice shared from this thread and made my purchase with the same supplier after the group buy ended, but I was still given the group buy price. Unfortunately for me, it looks like I got assigned a 3rd-rate manufacturer and hence the results shown in the pictures. Placed the order in October and these were presented to me late November, 2025. It’s not remotely close to the original. Spokes are also connected to the belly of the wheel. Just wanted to share my experience so others are aware.

What does this mean?

Tell us the name of the manufacturer. Post a link to their Ali page.

What I’ve learned is as follows: A verified or unverified “manufacturer” are the actual factory that produces the product. A verified or unverified “supplier/trading company” are the middle men (aka a “sales role”) to the actual factories and assigns/farms out your purchase to a specific factory based on negotiated price and I’m sure other factors are considered. In my case, I think I was assigned the 3rd-rate factory because the supplier said he “received too many orders and needed to ensure on time delivery” as per Alibaba’s delivery guarantee. Unfortunately, I’m not sure which manufacturer was assigned my purchase and the supplier did not offer up that information.

Wow, this is shocking... What was the reaction when you confronted them about it?

He said nobody will notice the flaws and I can accept the wheels as is.😂 I refused authorizing shipping and requested a full refund. Unfortunately, he didn’t issue the refund and I had to pursue the refund via my credit card company.

Who were you dealing with? I have been talking to Jason from XY. So far everything has been smooth. He caught an issue during QC and has to remake one of my wheels. I would rather that, then a Garmany wheel.

Interesting 285/40. I was looking for 285/35 4% smaller and little lower but hard to find for reasonable price. I dont want to destroy the bank on tires yet so I settled for Conti DWS 275/40 OEM circumference basically.

i found 8 in stock from this one supplier. i only went 285/40 for comfort n cuz it matchs my donut too which is like 155/90/18 im pretty sure. have to double check. 285/35 was my first go to size at first tho but look like rubber bands. and the roads are trash around me. also these are ps4, not ps4s or ps4 suv , so the price was a little cheaper. will see how they run i guess. and since we paid so little for our alibaba wheels i said id get another set of michelins.

Makes sense. I also went with 275/40 because they match my OEM wheel and I can use it as a spare
