Here it is Gents! The moment most have been waiting for. I was able to install the 3D Design carbon fiber rear diffuser with a little bit of tweaking of the trailer hitch. I didn't want to cut anything unless 100% necessary. With this diffuser, the best way to fit it over the stock trailer hitch, is to bend the hook tabs upward. Not by much, just some to clear it. I had to use (2x) self tap screws to secure two tabs under the diffuser. I have pictures to show. The fitment is great. Requires to swap over the rear parking senors stick on brackets. Installation was straight forward. Will take SLR photos tomorrow.

Very nice mate! Probably deserves its own thread.

Oh yes I see your thread, love your new wheels too!

looks great !! What do you mean by exchanging the sensors, which does not have the supports to connect the sensors? and the gestural opening of the trunk continues to work?
Greetings

Greetings
The OEM setup uses stick on tabs which hold the parking sensors in place. In order to do this install, you need to peel off the stock tabs and re-glue them on this diffuser. You must glue them in the exact spot so they sit 100%. My X3 came with a trailer hitch from factory. I did not find the module to have the kick open boot open. I know it's disabled with the factory hitch. However, in my case, it was never installed. I debated to remove the trailer hitch and put it back to stock, but it wasn't worth the cost or time for me to do so. This way, I still have the trailer hitch IF I ever need it (which is highly unlikely). I can bend the tabs back down, clean them up and use rustoleum black oil paint on parts that the finish flaked off. Again a big IF, if I do use it, it would be for a bike rack.

Thanks for answering, how did you remove the tabs from the sensors and with what adhesive did you stick it again?

For the price of the 3D design diffuser I would expect it to come with PDC brackets!

My cheap Chinese one did and they're perfect.

I removed them with a very thin putty knife. They came off fairly quick and without damaging anything. I used gorilla glue and gorilla black tape to hold everything in place.

Yeah, I wasn't happy that this didn't come with it, not for the price.. Either way, it was a simple swap over.

Fitment is very good, once I worked out where the two adaptor plates went! Paint finish is pretty good, not quite as good as the Maxton splitter though.

And the PDC sensors fit great, and work perfectly so far!!

Crap weather conditions for photos today, will take better ones when it's sunny.

Looks good

No listing that ships to the US though

I think black quad tips will look really good with this diffuser

They are on Aliexpress, and include quad tips and the X3M under body trays too it appears! Looks like the top part needs painting though:
