Looks like a good deal to me. I'm in IL, best offer to me so far is 8% off MSRP before incentives.

Hi, hoping to get input on a deal on X3 M40i. Found a dealer willing to give 10% off MSRP. I'm utilizing MSDs x 7 on top of base MF.
Also, for BMW CCA members, we get a rebate after purchase, right? Thanks! |

One thing to keep in mind when you compare deals you get from local dealer with what you saw online: regional difference could be HUGE. Generally the west coast and NY/NJ area can get much more aggressive deals simply because the competition there is much greater. Big market, more dealerships, and meanwhile more purchases as well. Therefore the dealers don't only make money by selling cars but also by getting volume rebates. I'm in Chicago and in the midwest you rarely get a deal as good as most can be seen online. This is very obvious and take a look at the level of activities on Leasehackr forum you will understand. Adjust your expectation and be more pragmatic instead of fully trust whatever you see online... |

Hi. Not sure if covered before (probably). Have been looking at courtesy vehicles at my local dealership which show varying degrees of being discounted, can you expect any discount on those besides the advertised price? Some showing a selling price of $41k with a MSRP of $47.5k.
They also have a few m40i's but only 1 with setup for apple car play without much discount. Thanks |

10% discount on a 2020? That's awesome, which LI dealer is it? Is the 2k a 2020 incentive or are they allowing a 2019 incentive to apply to the 2020 vehicle?

Hey guys,
New to the thread. Great insight here, looking for advice as I'm currently looking at two 2019 X3's. 1) 2019 X3 xdrive30i - service loaner with 4,200 miles MSRP - $52,445 Dealer Price - $47,445 Price after 5k incentive - $42,445 and dealer's final offer Driver Assistance Package Convenience Package Premium Package Black Vernasca Leather 3 years 36k maintenance started in May 2019 2) 2019 X3 M40i - brand new with 150 miles MSRP - $62,295 Dealer Price - $58,300 Price after 5k incentive - $53,300 and dealer's final offer Driver Assistance Package Convenience Package Premium Package Executive Package Please let me know which deal's better. My gut feeling says the X3 M40i, but would love to hear your insights. I wasn't even considering the M40i until I saw this deal. In your opinion, is there any room for both options to be better deals? If so, please advise. Thanks! |

Thanks for your reply. They're not budging from $53,300, but I'll try again today. What's a good number to counter offer and what's a good number to settle for in your opinion? Thanks.

I would get at least 15% off msrp plus incentives which is what i got. Remember your the buyer here so don't rush into it. Keep calm and make them the offer and see what they have to say. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, I tried again last night and they didn't budge. The response I got was "maybe you should buy from that dealership". Unbelievable lol, I gladly walked away.

I too was shopping for a loaded 30i which was almost 60k. Folks on here said if I am paying that add a couple dollars and get myself an M40i for a better overall car. Not that the 30i isnt. So its about 5k more for my build. I went to the dealer drove an only M40 they had and said yep, price me out this one. As for pricing you are asking about deals...in your #2 example my 2020 M40 msrp was more and I paid less than you are getting quoted, so an FYI. Good luck |

I think that response must be part of the BMW sales training, because I received the exact response from a dealer. I've been trying to purchase for a couple of weeks, and I haven't had success yet. I'm approaching the point of just giving up altogether for two reasons...(1) I'm running out of dealerships and (2) buying a car should not have to be this aggravating. Good luck!
