White on White - she's going to rarely be clean. I bought her to be a workhorse to cart family and activity gear. No "mods" yet other than racks, snow tires, PPF, and iPhone charger (kidding). It might look good to get rid of some of the cerium; however, I would like her to go faster.....so some kind of tune, flash, chip or whatever will most likely happen.
I have had her about two months and already loving her. Just like my 2013 S4, who (the car - no injuries) died tragically due to an uninsured running a stop sign, I plan on putting my foot to the floor every chance I get. She's fast, as you all know - roomy, and a good all-arounder. I imagine the AWD system is better than my Audi was and I am starting to trust it like I trusted that car. Pictured in the back are Mt. Princeton, Mt. Antero and probably Mt. White getting a PM dusting of snow. Both Mt. Princeton and Mt. Antero are 14'ers. Taken from some property I have near Salida, CO. I am sure my neighbors (ranchers) think I am some kind of fancy-boy with the BMW. Oh well....a King Ranch is prolly more $ than this M40i. I hope your cars can take you on lots of adventures! Please share your pics. |

WOW great picture Grahamstine1 ! I picked a good moment for my first foray into this thread, as that Colorado scenery looks familiar to me. Still hunting for an '18 CPO m40i myself.

Thanks, @[GuyBetterSlowDown]. Will be jealous of your '18 exhaust note. The 2020 leads me wanting more cracks, pops and burbles. Test drove a '19, which sold me, but bummed the '20 wasn't the same. #firstworldproblems

I just so happen to park next to an older gen X3 and thought it would be cool to see how much they have changed over the years.

Yesterday was a mixed day of emotions... got rid of the M4 and picked up a new 2020 X3 M40. I was presently surprised by the amount of pickup, but I'm definitely ready to get a tune on this thing!

Picking up my M40 to replace my M3 next Friday. Similar spec to yours. Beautiful! (But I'm biased...)
