That is lovely ... And that leather looks delicious .. Never seen the saddle leather and the brochure doesn't depict the colour the way your pics do

It looks really warm and special against the space grey (which is my fav colour)

I'm pleased and relieved the way the combination works. It's just not possible to see these things in flesh before ordering!

The colour in my interior pic is mostly pretty accurate, the area where the sun is hitting the leather is not accurate (orange). The colour is IMO best described as mid-brown.

Was at my dealer test driving on Saturday after finally getting cash in place, drove an X3 and a 5 series (afraid the X3 lost out, just didn't feel comfortable being that high up, whereas in the 5 it just clicked)

However, the real shocker was for a 3.0, or a 3.5 they are quoting AUGUST delivery!

My Wife & I could have another baby (we're not, 2 are enough) in less time than getting a new X3.

So I was quite glad the 5 got it hooks into me.

Congrats .very nice , lovely combination .

Thought the Msport had the sports footrest cover. this is from my configuration. can any one with msport please confirm??

Thanks. The pic shows a LHD. My 2011 F25 didn't get the metal footrest either.

Picture from the configurator, just checked again and its same. So BMW advertising something that's not on the final product !

To be fair to BMW in this instance, the UK price list makes no reference to this part being included in the UK Msport pack. Bit different to the guys that ordered the Xline on the basis of it specifically including the 607s and then finding something else turns up.

Apparently some time in the dim and distant past I actually ordered one .. I think !

It's so long ago my memory might be playing tricks on me and I just dreamed it

607 wheels ... I'd just settle for 4 at this stage

I know I know .. Just frustrated at least the factory isn't as demanding as the one that spent the same amount of time making my son

I'm starting to fear my end of January delivery date is slipping, emailed the dealer last week and still no confirmed build slot, for an end of January delivery that's starting to look suspect for me.

I'm not sure how it works but my dealer said mine has gone state 1100 or something which means it's accepted by the factory as an order and he said build at beginning of February .. I'd have thought yours was ahead of mine though

I think you'll be fine. Mine was always planned for 12 Jan delivery and last week I finally saw it shift to a build confirmed status (it's a company car so I get no further detail). This suggests yours should do the same in the next couple of weeks and still hit an end of Jan delivery date.

Don't loose faith yet. Mine was built 13/11, dealer is forecasting delivery 18/12 as of today.

Mine built on the 10th November original delivery date 22nd dec, had an email today to say I can pick up this Wednesday. So build to delivery about a month.

I was figuring on a Christmas/new year non production period too (just an assumption) I was thinking mine would have to be built in the next two weeks to have a chance of the end of January.

I hope it's not as I'm sick of waiting for it now.

How do you know it's getting built? What info do you need ?

Speak to your dealer .. He can see on his screen on the internal ordering system exactly where it's upto

It will show accepted for production by the factory (when it Is)

then show a build week ..

Then about a week or so before it goes into production it will lock so you can't make any changes

Once prod starts the code will change again

And again once complete

As soon as it shows consigned you should be able to track through the shippers on its vin number which the dealer can give you
