Just got my first update from BMW in a while. status is 'Transit to Bremerhaven' (165). Your car is estimated to be delivered in the week starting the 17th of October.

I guess we'll be on the same boat? Anyone any information on possible ships?

Did it change to 165 today? My delivery week is also week 42. But has been code 165 a few weeks now. Hopefully its on the atlas leader that left dalian yesterday 22th august. Hopefully tomorrow i get the update thats is on a ship.

A BMW Genius has just told me that my car (built late July) is still 165, being handed over to their logistics partner, still in China and still showing w/c 3 October in stock date

Part guesswork again, two ships headed to Nagoya (Japan) which seems to be a regular call before Tianjin Xingang and Dalian (China) are Goliath Leader and Grand Venus, although Goliath Leader (and Leo Leader) have the same handling agent as previous ships known to transport iX3 cars according to https://www.bristolport.co.uk/shippi...ward-movements

In previous post #469 (not that it matters really) I questioned how Goliath Leader would catch up and replace the Atlas Leader schedule according to https://www.nykroro.com/documents/EM...E-ESEAwk33.pdf of all the places in the world, it looks like it'll be in the English Channel somewhere as the Bristol port arrival times are only a couple of days apart for both ships!

Same here, although this morning it was still 165, but the date would only be available on the next status code update when it arrives in Bremerhaven from the USA. Seems to be a regular occurrence with Genius saying the USA

Sounds like the same sort of build date and delivery dates as me. Can’t see it still being China unless your delivery date has slipped? Based on the status changes I got, I think mines on the Grand Vega.🤞

Yes, kind of hoping it's sailed and the status doesn't update until it leaves the ship🤞a good friend of mine always says control the controllables, I should listen more.....none of this tracking will make a blind bit of difference to the date I get the thing🤣

Yes! I think I'm on the Grand Vega. Sounds like there are a few of us on here.

After docking at Southampton on 13 September, mine has to travel to King's Lynn for dealer prep and then to Shropshire to me.

Finger's crossed for the first week October delivery. It has already slipped by a month for me. It sat at Dalian for 4 weeks.

Still at 165 earlier today and no delivery date is available. I suspect that’s due to it still being in the port and they’re waiting for the next schedules to be released.

Not sure when it changed exactly. Production week was week 32.
It was code 9000 (departed Plant) on 13th August - given by dealer.
Checked yesterday with genius and given the code 165.

Atlas leader departed Dalian on 23/8. Could it be on there but not updated?

I'm due mine mid October, and yesterday told status is 195, so on a boat. Isn't status 165 still waiting to be loaded on a boat?

I think it is yes. If yours has updated maybe ours have missed this boat and still sat at port.

After being told for the last Month that our order was at code 165 and was on it's way from China to Bremerhaven, I asked for an update from the BMW Genius chat today and was told it is now at code 195: Arrived at port of exit China.

Our estimated delivery date has moved from end of September to end October as well.

I am confused how I can be told it's on a boat from China for a Month only to be told that it's actually only just got to the port in China ready to be put on a boat? The genius couldn't explain either.

165 means it's left the factory and been handed over to Logistics. 195 means it has left port of exit and so is on the boat. If you ask Genius what date the status changed to 195, you should be able to tell what boat it is on and then what date it arrives in Southampton. Two weeks after that is usual delivery period.

Since Monday 15th, was built the week before so not entirely certain when it went to 165. Certainly hoping it’s on that but not as yet updated. Concerns me that my date went from w/c 31st, to w/c 17th (which would imply the Atlas Leader) to now being 165 without an estimated date being available.

Can anyone clarify what the supply chain journey is, once the cars are offloaded in Southampton? Do they go straight from the docks to the dealership or via the BMW centre in Thorne, Yorkshire?

My car order status is still 160 (build week commencing 18th July), so could this be because the BMW system hasn't been updated in a while?

Its crazy guys.. now that the week 34 schedules is out, it seems like atlas leader is our only chance if our cars a set to arriv in week 42.... im hoping that BMW idiotic systems soon enough will be updated, so we could get it clarified if our cars are on this ship or not!
