Confort Food for a few Dinner

I out did myself yesterday.

Banana Bread and Dates/Walnut Muffins

Fresh wings tossed in BBQ sauce and light breading ready for dinner later this evening.

454 Grams Cake, aka Pound Cake.

Ribeye, tater and asparagus w/souffle topping.

Brome Lake Peking duck fresh out of the roaster to rest. Veggies and stuffing set aside and ready for Easter dinner later.

Ready for the oven.

Used bread flour this time. Looks like a better rise.

Lightly breaded fresh wings.

I tried another BBQ pizza yesterday using the parchment paper. A simple funghi using portobello mushrooms and mozza/cheddar blend.

The paper was a little singed on the bottom but otherwise fine although, I did brush EVOO over the surface. I should eventually get it right. Emphasis on eventually.

Half rack of Brontosaurus ribs. Fred approved.

Pasta sauce. It went in the oven this morning a 225° for slow baking. Now ready for dinner and some tubs for the freezer.

Coleslaw with cabbage, carrots, celery, EVOO, Balsamic vinegar and some sugar.

And a mini 2 layer lasagna with a couple of pasta slices cut in half to fit. Homemade sauce, cottage cheese and mix cheddar blend topping.
