The USAA is possibly dealer specific, not sure if all dealers accept that. Of course you have to be a USAA member. You may want to check the Costco fleet rebates too if you aren't in USAA. $2k is sweet.

The other $2k is an APR credit from BMW if you have any external financing. Never had something like that before, seems counter intuitive but won't argue!

I'll send you a PM on the dealer question.

Hi guys.....my NY dealer quoted me invoice for a well-equipped (exec) 2018 x3....3.0.

I gather there is a 1,500 incentive if I finance.

So.......total discount off of MSRP is approx 10%.

Seems decent, not amazing.

Thoughts?

Late to the game but better late than never. I was originally going to wait for the 2019 but found out about the 2019 Apple CarPlay subscription so I pulled the trigger on the 2018. It made more sense since I'm going with the purchase route. I think it was a pretty good deal. Overall I received a 13% discount from MSRP. Excited for my first BMW!

My build:

- X3 M40i
- Phytonic Blue Metallic
- 21" M Double-spoke Cerium Grey wheels, style 718M with performance run-flat tires
- Black Vernasca Leather w/blue contrast stitching/piping
- Aluminum Interior Trim
- Premium Package w/Front And Rear Heated Seats
- Executive Package
- Wireless Charging and WiFi Hotspot
- Harman Kardon surround sound system
- Apple CarPlay Compatibility
- Adaptive M Suspension
- Active Cruise Control

Original Quote MSRP: $67,370
Discount: -$6,889
Additional Discount: -$2,000

Selling Price: $58,481
Doc Fee and License Fee: $728
Taxes: $4,977.46
Total Out-the-Door Price: $64,186.46

I purchased 10 days ago my 30i with m sport. MSRP = $55.3k. They took $8k off (14.5% discount).

Most in here are getting below invoice, just takes some work. I'd recommend shooting for 10% off MSRP before the rebates. So on my build it was about $2k below invoice.

Hmmm? I have not done the configurator lately, but why is DA and DA plus not available now? BMW having some problem with the technology?

There are a couple threads that have discussed the supply shortage of DA & DA+:

http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1487618

http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1497768

I placed my order on 4/30 and it will not be arriving till 7/15. They expect the supply shortage to go away late June.

This is a great deal overall. One note with the build is that while you have almost every option including Active Cruise Control (which is awesome), you don't have any of the other driver assistance items like blind spot monitoring, etc. in the driver assistance/driver assistance plus packages.

Those aren't listed on the website right now (see above), which can be very misleading. Active Cruise, for example, is included in driver assistance plus, but is only available as a separate option currently online. Just wanted to make sure you were aware of this.

Thanks! Appreciate the links. Still think that BMW should make most of this stuff standard as many of the much lower cost SUVs out there are.

There's been many posts about part shortage. Originally, I was under the impression that DA/DA+ were inclusive of ACC but apparently not. Just talked to my sales guy about this and he added the DA/DA+. It's an additional $1,400 to my final out-the-door price. Still not a shabby deal.

He’s telling a fib for sure... please see the image I’m attaching. Turns out I can’t attach a screenshot from my iPhone, but here is the complete description of DA+ ... suffice to say for $1700 on top of the $900 for DA, you do in fact get ACC.

“Packages
ZDB Driving Assistance Plus Package

5AT Active Driving Assistant Plus
Active Driving Assistant Plus includes Active Cruise Control w/Stop & Go, Active Lane Keeping Assistant w/ side collision avoidance,
Traffic Jam Assistant, Evasion Aid, & Cross-traffic alert front, in addition to the contents of Active Driving Assistant. ZDB requires ordering ZDA”

No that is not a good deal if that is for a 2018 xDrive30i.

I'm doing $719/month with $2,600 due at signing on my 2018 xDrive30i:

MSRP: 61,970.00
Discount of 11.03% -$6,833 (Dealer: -$5,333.00 & Rebates: -$1,500)

Total out the door: $55,137.00

Even though my due at signing is slightly higher (CA has lots of taxes + first month) there is absolutely no way you should be paying $31 more a month for a car that has a MSRP lower than my sale price.

I was able to get this price after shopping around between 2 dealers. I also found purchasing at the end of the month usually pushes them to lower the price more since they want to get their numbers up.

This is for a 2018.

What the heck... why is my dealer quoting so much more? I'm in Washington State (Seattle area) - could that make a huge difference? I've asked 4 different dealers in the area for similarly priced cars, and this is already the best one. What am I doing wrong! :O

Is the MF/Residual drastically different or something? Yours is a 36/12 lease, correct?

Thanks!

Mine is a 36/10. However it would of been just a couple of dollars more for 12K.

Personally I am just going to buy miles later if I need them, there is no discount for buying them up front if I recall correctly.

I don't believe it would change that much for Seattle from the bay area.

Whats the money factor they're giving you?

Whats the residual?

I ended up going with a dealer who contacted me after I did some searching on TrueCar and only worked with internet sales. Every sales associate I worked with jerked me around.

Feel free to PM me.

edited to add: is the car your looking a custom order or on the lot?

There is a $0.05/mile discount if you purchase the miles up front... $0.20 vs. $0.25.

Isn't that only if you wait till the end of the lease to buy more miles?

It's currently .20 per mile on my 2015 328i. Though I could see that being an old rate.

Correct.. I think you have up until the last 6mo to buy them at $0.20/mi. By the way I just landed the deal I was looking to get on my next car.. check it out below...

What is included in the $1643 in "dealer fees?" Also, they are marking up the money factor on you by a fair amount. What is the term/mileage on this lease?

Dealer fees are just the acq fee and doc fees and probably some other stuff. Also, the money factor is the best BMWFS has to offer on this car according to everyone I’ve spoken to?
