The app does try to cache results, so there is the off chance her ap cached the bad version. It’s unlikely but small chance that’s what happened for her. Can she close out the app 100% and then restart it and see if its still the same?

If it still is the same is there anything you can think of that different about her phone and yours? Different connection, different version, different anything?

Reinstall didn’t fix it, nor did uninstall+reboot+reinstall. Both are iPhones. Same OS version, same app version, both on the same wireless connection. Also repoed on cellular. Sorry, I wish I could give you more information. LMK if there’s anything else I can get for troubleshooting.

Ok I figured out the problem! I put the fix into the next version of the app which I re-set into the App Store (version 7.0.1). It should hopefully be available in the next 24-48 hours. Let me know if that fix doesn’t work for you guys

to me, it seems like the app has entirely broken... times out on all posts and says connection cannot be established...

As reported by nZtiZia, my iPhone's app is completely broken!

I have tried to correct the issue by deleting the app, reinstalled it and then logged back in and that did not fix the issue.

If I use the web version on my Mac using Safari everything is appearing properly.

the website works better than the app, for sure, but i've seen a new error message as of late as well. the first line went something like, "it seems we are lost..."

i should've taken a screenshot, but that said, i don't know if Mark or apptest have anything to do with the BimmerPost website development

BTW, I don't recall receiving any notification from Bimmerpost that you were moving to a 7.x version of the app and that we could be experiencing some bugs.

Also just noticed that I keep getting logged out of the app. Not sure on the time between use as I haven’t monitored but definitely isn’t keeping me logged in on a regular basis. Hopefully this is fixed in the 7.0.1 release as well!

It might get fixed with the update. I made some small massages to the login system. But if the problem continues after that update can you let me know?

When you say it logs you out, does that mean your avatar vanishes and you have to click into the settings menu and have to type the username/password all over again?

If you don't need those drafts you can delete them, the drafts system has been overhauled (to fix that) in the next update 7.0.1, just waiting for apple to approve and release, hopefully 24-48 hours

- any updates on MyForums no longer displaying subscribed forums?
- any updates on fixing “Delete all” and “Mark all read” to work? (deletion and reading have to be done individually to have effect)
- DM/new thread subject lines get garbled when editing saved drafts

Sorry, missed this yesterday. Yes, exactly. The avatar would vanish and I would have to type in my username/password all over again.

Just downloaded the update and logged in so we’ll see later on if it’s fixed.

Edit to add: did not get the error message that I posted about before so looks like the update fixed that one. 👍🏻

Oh wow that’s awesome news. If your login keeps holding solid then I’ll consider it fixed. But if it happens again please feel free to post here about it and I’ll look some more. Thanks again
