Looks like a well made unit. Price seems reasonable.

Let us know how it goes! Ordered mine today. Pretty sure the video had the stock DP, intake, and turbo.... so curious to see what it will sound like with MST intake, upgraded DP and turbo!! Will post results once I get it installed. I was about to jump on either the CTS or Ali set-ups but I like how this one does not Y at the front of the car and instead uses the muffler to split off.

I have to film it again later tonight. All the clips I recorded on the iPhone 16 pro max cut out the sound due to it being too loud lol

Came in yesterday and installed it today. Very happy with it. With the 2019 models having louder exhaust to start with, I feel this actually quieted it down some even though the stock resonator is removed. It is certainly more refined, deeper, and clean sounding for sure! Fitment is on point and like the looks of the tips compared to stock as well. Going to try and take some legit videos with my osmo and mic tomorrow. Get some revs and fly bys.

Anyone else have issue with their exhuast tips being damaged? I would say all four of them have some form of scratching, some minor, some more significant, some in visible spots, some not.

Not the end of the world but still a bit disappointing. I sent DINAN an e-mail, we'll see what they say.

Didn’t have any damage on mine. They were wrapped in tissue and individually boxed so that must have happened prior to shipping if yours came like mine. There’s no way they would get damaged inside the box how they had them wrapped/boxed. I’m sure they’ll make it right.

Out of curiosity is yours pre-LCI or LCI? Mine is LCI and the valve actuator provided with the kit doesn't line up with the valve, with the included pin.

The instructions say to use a "diagnosis tool" to put the valve in "installation mode" but they declined to mention anything further to assist.

Curious if anyone else had this issue and found a resolution.

Hey man, could you post a sound clip? I think a ton of us are hoping to hear this system on a few different vehicles before ordering. Wondering if your pre-LCI sounds different from the LCI sound clip. My wife wants the pops and bangs that she can hear from the valeteonic sound clip (pre-LCI) which seem to be lacking on the Dinan sound clip (LCI) and I’m wondering if the difference is in the BMW tune. Would love to buy Dinan over valvetronic if they sound similar on an LCI model, but I can’t find any LCI sound clips with the valvetronic.

I'm a rookie at all this, but here it is....Filmed with DJI OSMO and Mic. It would have been better with another person helping but wanted to get it done!

Are you catless? I think I understand what you mean by it being quieter than stock on the 2019. My 2019 with a 200 cell cat is loud, but a bit unrefined and droney with the valves open….almost sounds like an old diesel truck when slowly cruising.

Also - are your valves open in comfort too? Maybe its just the mic, but I can hardly tell a difference in volume between sport and comfort outside of the burbles.

Yes. Comfort quiets it down and takes away burbles during cruise and idle. Mic was on license plate so not a good idea of what it does I guess. There’s only 1 valve on these so it doesn’t quiet it as much as my g80 with 2 it seems.

Thanks for posting BlackOps23. For those that missed the link or if it continues to show as a preview window thats private:

BlackOps23 Video Link

I've really been debating if this is worth probably $3500CDN installed. It doesn't sound massively different to my 2018 with just a downpipe - granted it's always a little hard to tell in videos. Would be easier if I was naturally rich and didn't have to debate between new golf clubs and an exhaust <-- first world problems.

I would say no, if anything less drone overall. With the cleaned up exhaust tone it’s more smooth sounding.
